I generally just feed them twice a week since they eat the Material in the soil. When it rains the soil outside is good the next day so I collect some of it. That soil has pill bugs which I love and they live great with snails. I try not to get to soggy of soil and when I do change the container i don't need to sprinkle water for one week. I only sprinkle water on the snails.

I have been putting some food out under some bushes, and I caught a mom and baby half her size running around. If I put out some kind of shelter would they use its?

Do they have a size preference or it can be any snail? I know now is a good time for them here in British Columbia since it's really wet so I collected wet soil from the garden. I washed dandelion leaves and put in a piece of cucumber. I have a very small garden terra pot and egg shells in there. It's about one gallon, but are the requirements VERY specific like goldfish, which are hard to breed?

Right now it is pouring rain outside but the weather will be sunny all week next week. The snails have various brown colour and some have SPIRALS of black, brown or yellow bands. They are very different shades but some have black bands. Does anybody know if these garden snails have specific breeding patterens? I'm pretty sure most have seen these common snails, and do I need more than one?

I enjoy feeding the wildlife as a hobby and with pet keeping out question right now due to my kids. I tried going to a specialist bird and nature store. They had all kinds of food and nest boxes for birds, squirrels and mason bees.They had a squirrel feeder and corn, but I don't want to spend to much when I can find or make it. I bought a feeding tray with no shells birdseed, but I don't have any luck with birds even though I see and hear them. On the other hand, squirrels are everywhere.

I bought a popular bird treat called bark butter and I collected a few pine cones. I spread the bark butter and stuck on a handful of seeds. I tied it with a string than hung it on some sideshrubs in the back yard AWAY from the house. I checked this morning and they were gone! The string was chewed off completely, these squirrels are smart, but how can I add more substance to their diet since the squirrels here in the city don't have a whole lot of good things to eat.

Can I mix some store bought pet food made for hamsters to mix with the bird seed?? The seeds is complete diet for birds but maybe not for squirrels.I can place these pine cone treats anywhere in the crook of the tree away from the house, so they don't get too close to people, but still get something to eat. We aren't allowed to keep wildlife as pets in Canada due to health concerns. Any advice is helpful..Thanks,

I seen Newborn clothes, blanket, pacifiers exactly like what girls use. Even though they are 6 and 3 is it too late to do it? Rebuy a few things, it's not like they will know when they are older or is it a waste of money?? I'm not talking about spending 100's of dollars.

We have since moved to Canada few years ago. Canada has a lot of regulations in terms of immigration and citizenship. When my daughter(she is in Gr.1) started kindergarten last year they required the ORIGINAL birth record, and they know she was born in the US. Immigration told me because I was Canadian born my child did not need a Canadian passport then, so I waited to apply. My mom think the kids should have my last name. I didn't realize how much paperwork and legal stuff their is. I didn't have a court paper which is required in Canada. We just 'Mutually' seperated and after living apart one year.

He files the divorce through a lawyer, I got served than sent it back.. I received the final paper not long after. In regards to my question, father is no longer involved,I just see it as a last name..I won't mention my kids name but I just couldn't hyphenate my name and his at their birth it would be Wang-Wilson. It would sound odd, but my mom who criticize me say she would put two names together and I should of gave my oldest an English name since she is half Chinese! Plus i like the name Meiling, although I didn't give her a middle name, my youngest has a 4 letter name so I gave her a short middle name. I still think about it though. He wasn't exactly a great father, but it took me until after my second daughter's birth to realize it since we stopped being a couple.

My daughter lower front tooth in the middle is pushed up and it's wiggly, but how is that possible when I see the tooth from behind? It's not completely erupted yet from what I see. I thought all the permanent teeth in the front come up from the bottom? She had a class mate a girl who had a set of teeth behind the baby teeth in front, but I seen her baby teeth were straight, and I saw the two behind.

My daughter also has her 6 year molar on the left side come up with no problems. Please note her bday is in September.

The tooth on the bottom is pushed up but I see a bump behind from a tooth not erupted yet. The dentist told me to wait a few weeks.

The tooth used to be at the same height as the others. It is wiggly but I worry about shark teeth and behind that tooth I notice a 'bump'. Is this normal?? I keep wiggling the tooth. She has already seen the dentist and the kids are only cover under the kids dental for ONE visit since I'm low income. The other Kids already have teeth falling out like crazy. Her friend a Jan baby lost her two baby teeth and got new teeth within two weeks.

I actually like the taste of baby cereal for some reason not sure why. It is also low in calories ect, but I don't do it for weight loss. Are there people out there that do eat baby cereal or baby food?

I'm a 29 year old divorced mom of two girls 6 and 3. At first I almost never had a second but I talked with my then ex about how only children can have trouble sharing etc. It took me awhile to know when the right age was and than I figured when my oldest was two it was a good time. Now that one is school age I feel the younger one might not beable to 'catch up'. They always fight and my oldest acts more like she has 'only child' syndrome. She was attached to me for awhile. My youngest needs lot of support and supervision, but I feel my oldest think I'm spending to much time with her. She I'd always like this even I have time for her after school but when her sister is there it's hard to watch them act like the way they do.

But my daughter's class has 1 out of 5 kids or more that have issues ranging from Autism, language or behaviour problems. What happen to these kids when they become adults? and is it not noticeable in adults or they hide it? I get on the bus to go somewhere these adults and everyone just mind there own business. At school lots of kids going into kindergarten with various issues..is it a generation thing? my oldest is 6 she has language disorder, behaviour issues and is a roller coaster of emotions. My youngest has eyesight issues, she wears orthotics and has speech delay ect.

Me and my ex were in financial straights when Obama planned to cut the food stamps. He did it slowly so not all at once. With my first pregnancy I didn't know what to do, so I always had to look stuff up ect. I was on WIC as well. I am pretty small so I had her at 37 weeks 7lbs. She was a difficult baby and hard to put to sleep. When I put her down she doesn't stay asleep and would wake up. She is 6 now and the challenges are there but different from her sister. She has Language disorder and doesn't like noise. She has speech therapy since 2 yrs and it still hasn't gone away. Her oral speech improve but she has issues. My youngest was born 39 weeks at 6lbs and she look normal as a baby BUT her gross motor was slow to develope, even now she wears orthotics, wears glasses, eye patch and always get hurt. When I was pregnant with her I was under stress due to Food stamps getting cut, but even the WIC help little. My youngest was 8 months when we left US to Canada since my parents wanted me home, so my mom came for us. She is now three and we are giving them the support they need.

I tried to look in settings but I don t know where. I just got the phone few weeks ago and I m still learning to use it. Is there a way to make it ring so I know I received an email? When I have a incoming call it vibrates so I know.

I live in North Vancouver, BC and everywhere I go they are building condos, town homes and other housing but nothing for disabled people or people that can't afford a 1900 rent! My kids are young 3 and 6, but if something comes up to be redeveloped I hope low income housing will be included. It will take 5-10 years to plan by then my girls will be near the end of elementary school. I can't live with my parents till my kids are grown. My parents aren't getting younger and they won't be able to upkeep their house in 10 years.
