  • SO - does the fact "Fast and Furious" going back to 2007 change anything?

The investigation into Fast and Furious has determined that he activities resulting in the release of hundreds of weapons by our government to the Mexican drug lords started in 2007.

Does that truly mean anything? Why didn't President Bush come forward when the investigation started and make it clear Fast and Furious was implemented and managed during his watch?

  • Do politicians pay or their own transportation?

Do members of Congress and the senate who represent western states pay their own transportation costs when flying back and forth between their home and Washington when they take their four days a week off the job? They work three days a week and most fly back to their home state for the four days off.

Do they pay or does the tax payer pay for those trips?

  • Shouldn't the states decide how much they pay the ---?

The states elect and send people to Washington to administer the needs of our nation. Some do a great job at it, others do okay and some do little in managing our nations affairs but rather spend their time doing things they were not elected to do.

People like Mitch McConnell is an excellent example. He spends far more time creating failure than n helping do anything to help fix our national problems. In spite of this he continues to get paid by the AMERICAN tax payers.

If the sates paid the Representatives would we be more in tune with what they are doing to earn their money? Would we continue ending people like McConnell to Washington? Certainly the people of Kentucky would either make him do the job he was elected to do or stop paying him. Would we get better performance from all elected officials if the states paid their wages rather than the feds who pay regardless if the elected officials do anything or not?

  • I know music has changed a lot but I would like to --?

I know music has changed a lot over the years and kids have their own idea of entertainment. I would like to open a dance hall for teens and young adults where they can come to associate, have soft-drinks and snacks and dance to music from the 50s and 60s. Maybe have a parents night where the older people could enjoy the same thing.

If you are a teen or someone in the 20-30 age group would you use such a place? SHould I charge an admission fee or just rely on selling soft drinks and snacks to pay operational costs; I am not concerned with making money just having fun and giving people some entertainment.

  • Which of the following "Term Limit" arguments do you support?

1 - There should be no term limits because the person in office will be more likely to put America first, do what is best for the country, and keep voters happy when they know doing their best will get them re-elected.

2 - With term limits there is no motivation to do what is correct and office holders are more apt to "take the money" from special interest groups and other sources as they know they can not be re-elected and they are nor held accountable for their decisions and actions anyway!

Please - feel free to expand on the reasoning rather than just a 1 or 2.

  • Is This this - Really -When The Republicans Were Doing It Right!?

Rick Wilson, a Florida-based GOP consultant, referring to the Republicans 1994 performance in Washington Politics said, “'This is where we were doing it right...”

. That is the period when Gingrich was transferring federal money into his own company bank account, that is the period of time when Gingrich was tried by Congress for lying during a Congressional investigation into his ethics (that eventually cost him a $300,000.00 fine) and congress’ review of 24 (+/-) other ethical violations, AND – while he was cheating on his wife!

. We have seen repeated incidents of adultery and unethical activities on both sides (while in office) but WHEN have we ever elected a person into office that has such a dark and unethical background?

. Is this what the Republican Party has come to? Are we actually ready to pass the White House to a known lire, a man who cheated not only on one wife but two, a man who was tried and found guilty by congress for lying during a congressional investigation, a man who continues to lie today? A hypocrite that at the same time he was publicly demeaning President Clinton for his indiscretion Gingrich was doing the same thing (not to just one wife but two wives - one a long term affair with a political aid (a problem similar to the Senator from Nevada and to John Edwards).
