  • What is this happy-hardcore sounding song Ive been hearing?

Okay, so this is gonna be a long shot, but maybe someone knows and can make some guesses for me. Basically it's a trance-ish song that is fairly popular and you hear it in clubs sometimes. I think it had vocals but I don't remember the words. The distinctive thing is it has a repetitive synth lead riff (it's a really short 4-beat riff repeated every bar) that sounds very happy-hardcore inspired...it's a really high treble synth.

I know this is not the most specific information, but maybe someone can guess a few tracks and I can see if that's it?

  • Asthma-like symptoms after bronchitis?

Hi, I am currently recovering from a case of bacterial bronchitis. It has been almost 3 weeks since it started. I started antibiotics a week ago and I have vastly improved. I only have coughing fits a few times a day and not much comes up in them, and in general I feel a lot better.

However, in the past day or two, I have noticed that I am frequently wheezing when I take deep breaths. The wheeze is deep in my chest and only happens during the inhale, there is no sound or wheezing feeling on the exhale. Also, the wheezing doesn't induce coughing...the sound just happens but I feel no urge to cough or anything, and if I make myself cough it doesn't seem like it moves anything so I'm assuming it isn't mucus and it's probably constriction or inflammation in my airways.

I know I don't have asthma, I'm just saying the symptoms seem very asthma-like. Should I be concerned, or will this probably go away on its own? Has anyone else experienced this here?

  • How do you solve this limit?

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v507/Mack2150/Sc...

I am pretty sure the solution is -1/2, but I don't know how to officially show my work for it. I am in Calculus 1 and this question is from an old final, so I can probably be pretty sure there will be a question just like this on it.

    Thanks!

  • Phenyl: Is it capital phi or lowercase phi, and how is this used?

Fairly trivial question, but I'm in oChem right now, and I've read that phenyl can be represented by the Greek letter phi. Is it lowercase or uppercase? And where would you use phi to do this, is it just in some types of writing or if you were writing a bond-line formula could you just put something like Φ/\/\/\/ (if you were writing Ph-(CH2)6-CH3)?

    Thanks chemists! :)

  • what is this loud shrieking noise i hear outside in Los Angeles every night?!?

I go to USC, so it is in South Central. When I am outside my apartment at night (which is off-campus), I can intermittently hear this loud repetitive shrieking noise — when it happens, it's a short loud shriek, almost like if you talk while inhaling, if that makes sense, and it sounds about 2 times per second, for maybe about 5 seconds and then stops. Then, maybe about 15 minutes later it happens again. My friend said that it is a sound used by businesses to keep homeless people from sleeping on their premises. This sounds probable, but I couldn't find any information on it on the internet. Is it true?

  • Do you think this wreck is totaled or fixable?

Hi, I fell asleep at the wheel and drove my car off the road into a ditch. Luckily no one was hurt and my car did not actually collide with anything. However, it did forcefully slam into a ditch and the wheels scrape against the wheel wells.

I know you can't make a sure call until pieces start getting taken off, but I just want some opinions... thanks. I have Progressive insurance.

  • Derivative of f(x)=(tan3x-cos3x)^4?

Can you just use the chain rule and go:

    4(tan3x-cos3x)^3(sec(^2)3x+sin3x)(3+3)

    24(tan3x-cos3x)^3(sec(^2)3x+sin3x)

    ?

    or is there something else?

  • Could I dye my hair orange-red?

I have medium length brown hair. My eyebrows are dark. Do you would it look weird if I dyed my hair a redheadish orange red, like Shaun White/Ron Weasley shade?
