  • ANOTHER spending bill is passed?

Another $1.1 trillion spending bill was passed by the Senate and is on its way to Obama's desk. Are you fed up yet? If so, what do you plan on doing about it?

  • How Would I Set up a PC with Two Physical HDD's, Each with a Different OS?

Although I'm slightly tech literate (I built my own PC), I'd like to hear from people with more experience regarding this.

I'm very interested in moving on to Windows 7. Currently I use XP. Problem is, I don't want to worry about losing my installs/data/etc. and having to reinstall and backup everything, so I would like to keep my first hard drive with all the files and stuff intact on it (it has XP installed), and then install a second hard drive and install Windows 7 on that one. Kind of like having two separate PC's in one case, I guess, so that if I want to use my old programs on the XP drive, I can switch to there. I don't need or want to share files between these drives, if it's possible to avoid that.

Is there a way to do this where I can choose at startup which drive to boot from? (Is this the same as dual-booting with 1 hdd, separate partitions?) Would this be automatically detected and I'd be able to choose at startup? Would I need to go through the BIOS? Is this even possible?

If so, how would I go about installing the second drive to accomplish this? Or are there any good guides out there that anyone can point me to? Thanks.
