Hey there kiddies!!! I got bored and thought I'd fill this spot in my profile. My interests include football (go Colts), writing, music, travel, current events, and occasionally politics. You've probably noticed that if you checked out my answers. I will apologize for my typing. Unfortunately, I broke my shoulder sliding on ice Christmas Eve. And of course it is my right arm and I'm right handed. Have a good day!
What do you think our great grandparents would say about us calling this period a 'depression'?
I think they would tell us we are spoiled little brats who don't know how good we have it. Your thoughts?
13 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDems and Reps, are you frightened about the upcoming crisis VP elect Biden spoke of?
If you remember, Biden said that during Obama's first six months he will be tested by a serious crisis and will anger many in how he handles it. What do you think the crisis will be and does that frighten you?
16 AnswersElections1 decade agoHave any of you ever taken a political poll?
It may be that I live in Indiana and historically Hoosiers have been pretty much overlooked in national elections. However, nobody I know, liberal or conservative, has been contacted about which candidate they plan on voting for. This makes me curious as to how pollsters get their numbers and also leads me to believe the polls I read about are flawed at best or fraudulent at worst. Your opinions?
7 AnswersElections1 decade agoDid anyone else notice how the announcers at the Ravens/Colts game kept referring to the Baltimore as the Colt?
The first time I heard this was when the commentators were announcing Baltimore's defense. They called them the Colts. And I swear I heard it maybe twice during the game and once during the postgame. The Colts moved to Indy in I believe 1984...24 years ago. How is this confusion still happening? Or is it that CBS just stinks?
4 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat types of military discharges would keep you from getting a government job?
A family member has an other than honorable discharge from 1999 and wants to apply for a position at the post office. He has kept his nose clean since then, but is concerned his military experience will get in the way.
