Would you have to have degrees or would some be less difficult to complete? Could a high school student enter any of these under the guidance of a professional acting as a mentor?

I'm playing chess and I have the following situation: I moved my white king next to my opponent's black king and my king was protected with a bishop. Is it illegal for me to move my king adjacent to the black king, even if it puts him in checkmate and it is impossible for my opponent to take my king (as it would be taken by my bishop)? Would this be a stalemate or checkmate? Or neither because I can't make the move moving my king adjacent to my opponent's?

One minute it was working fine, and the next it just stopped working. Any ideas?

I do not have the CDs nor can I find my product key/ serial number. I cannot access the internet either due to a virus. Is my only hope to scavenge for the CDs somewhere on the internet?

I have a Windows XP and apparently, one of the system files were destroyed. I had a lot of music on that hard drive, so I decided to just get another hard drive, install XP as the OS and run my computer off of this other hard drive. therefore, I could pull the music off of the original Hard Drive onto my new hard drive.

After that, I thought maybe it would be possible to use the new one I got as an external hard drive and format and reinstall the OS onto my original hard drive. I can't even start up my computer, therefore, I cannot format my hard drive.

I ahve the XP intallation CD anmd when I put it in and set up the computer so it starts first, it just says "A problem has been detected and windows has shut been shut down to prevent damage to your computer." Then it tells me o do do a couple of things like check if I have enough space nd check with my vendor for BIOS updates. It did this with both hard drives each time I started the CD.

My original hard drive, a 100G Seagate is installed with XP and the new one I got is a 30G Maxtor installed with Windows 2000.

So if anyone could give me tips on how to properly install the OS onto a new hard drive or how to format a hard drive before system start/ via the setup menu, I'd really appreciate it.

PS. When trying to install to new hard drive, I took out my original and put the new one in as the C: drive.

I'm trying to create an outline for my Honors class and I'm having a bit of a problem. You are aware that an outline requires indentations, however, when the indentations become numerous, I have problems fitting all the information on one line. Naturally, I would continue typing to the next line, but the text appears on the left side of the document. I tried to indent THAT, but it wouldn't indent without moving the text on the line above it as well, anyone got a solution?

I am 14 and my two parents have divorced when I was age 4. My dad went to the city and my mom bought a house in the suburbs...However my dad moved closer to my mom and then eventually into my town which he claims is for the sole reason of being with us. He works in foreign currency exchange, which is a very volatile business. He has also recently opened an office in New York City, Japan, and is planning on opening one in Hong Kong. He also recently broke up with his girlfriend ...As you can see, he is in a great amount of stress. I see him once a while and he gets very mad, upset, and disappointed when our plans are broken. It turns out he gave the house my brother, my mother and I now live in to my mother. She apparently did not handle the money well so she gave it back to my dad, who paid off her debt and gave her the house back when everything was paid off. Regardless of what is stated on the divorce agreement, the house is still in his name. He often has a short temper and when he gets mad he doesn't talk to me and my brother for some days. However, I almost understand why he gets angry. He now wants me to live with him. I feel that I may have a better opportunity with him. He tells me there will be more responsibility on my part. This also means that my mom will only receive half of the money my dad pays her now. If I do decide to live with him, he tells me that he will buy a two story house (be lives in a one story rented house) in the same town. I will still be able to visit my mom almost daily. He and I are also planning on creating a t-shirt making business.

My mom says that it is ok, but she is afraid that he will change like he usually does and become made at me. Most of the time when he ets really mad he does because plans are unintentionally broken (which look like my mom trying to keep me away from him, but that isn't the case). I don't think my mom wants me to live with him and I don't know if it's because of the money, or that fact that I will no longer live with her...I'd hate to see her upset...

Where could I buy a skateboard but not use too much money within the Mid Long Island area?
