It's $100 more on Canon's website, so to save some money I was going to buy it from amazon. Good idea or not so much? Have any of you ever bought a lens from amazon? Opinions?

Right now I have the T1i & I'm not so much impressed. Of course my dream camera is the 5D Mark II but that's about $1000 out of my budget range. Help.

I'm headed to D.C. this week & someone told me that the Reflecting Pool in front of the Washington Monument & Lincoln Memorial has been drained. Does anyone who lives in the area or who has just been know if this is true or not?

I've been looking to buy a new lens for a few weeks now for my Canon T1i. I was going to purchase the 18-200 mm but was told that it wasn't a very sharp lens because of the fact that it goes from 18-200, if that makes any sense. I mostly do outdoor portraiture and a bit of nature photography but mostly portraits and I've recently started doing some indoor portraits. If you know or have either of these lens & could tell me anything about them or review them, that would be great.
