Now, looking for an answer, you're first subjected to Sponsored Results that have no relevance to the question. Why?

Not that I really care since I never search by numbers, but I'm curious. Why is it that a message I've approved shows as #64999 under Moderator Activity, but in the groups messages it's listed as #221782?

That's it. That's the question.

I am a moderator for K9Nutrition. Fewer and fewer pending messages have been getting through to me via email. It's really annoying to have to continually check the website to find out if a post is awaiting moderation. Notifications now are down to just about none and I find this strange when I do get every email posted to the list.

The list is K9Nutrition. For 3 days nothing has come in to the list which is normally active, or to the moderators except emails from people wanting to join. Dead times like this do real harm to lists and we would appreciate it if someone would take a look and do something about it.

I am a moderator on K9Nutrition. When I click on an approval link in my email notification, the page that should come up sometimes takes so long to load it times out. Normally, it takes at least 12 seconds which is far too long with a high speed connection. If I simply try to reach the list home page, it takes that long as well.

And might I add, the suggestion out to the right that my question might have been answered in a post about weight tips or optocouplers, whatever those are, makes me wonder about Yahoo. Again.

This was supposed to be fixed. I'm still fighting it on K9Nutrition.

If I persist in getting to them, the pending messages ARE there. If I continually try to edit or approve them (it usually takes a number of tries to do anything) sooner or later I get it done but this is really annoying and it was supposed to have been looked into and fixed 2 months ago. It happens intermittently but daily.
