  • Should I try to contact my ex to to make sure my best friend's wedding goes off without a hitch?

    I am the Matron of Honor and my husband is the best man. My best and oldest friend is the bride and is still very close friends with my ex. I know that she will invite him to the wedding and that she really wants him there. Problem is that he knows I will be there and our breakup went very badly (no infidelity or anything, just incompatibility) and we haven't seen or spoken to each other since. I know that he won't come to the wedding if everything stays the way it is now. Should I call him and have the "can we learn to get along in social atmospheres for her sake" conversation? It's been 6 years and I'm over it and really want her wedding to be perfect for her,... she deserves it.
