  • My dog has a bloated abdomen. Im getting worried. PLEASE HELP ME!?

    She is swollen around her rib cage area and her stomach is hard when I press it.

    Its been like that for about 2 weeks, but she's been acting normal and eating and playing, there haven't been any changes in her behavior.

    She's an 8 year old German mix.

    The problem is that she tends to eat anything and everything and has gotten into the habit of eating the compost from the flower pots. Could this be the cause?

    Her father passed away last year from organ failure (I think it was liver, I wasn't told for sure) and his heart gave out on him :'( He had an enlarged heart on a scale of 12.

    Is it hereditary? Could this be early symptoms?

    Please someone help me. I'm really worried about her.
