  • is there an answer section for Adults only?

I'm tired of seeing all these kids on here asking those teeny bopper questions or seeing immature answers like yo momma and such.. There should be an answers for adults and I don't mean smut/pornography. . Just a place where adults can help each other in a mature meaningful way. I am ready to just give up on answers, but do enjoy helping others and see alternative ideas and opinions. But Answers is being taken over by 18 and under.

  • do you feel sad for Terrel Owens?

Not me...he's always been overrated as a player and if he put as much effort on the field as he does off the field promoting himself, he could have been one of the best Wide Receivers.

    Owens’ star has drastically fallen

As the trade deadline loomed only a few hours away Tuesday afternoon, a high-ranking AFC executive was rattling off some tidbits about potential movement around the league when the conversation turned to the value of Buffalo Bills wideout Terrell Owens(notes). Still hyped by the media as a commodity at this week’s deadline, Owens had been relegated to footnote status long ago by this particular talent evaluator.

    Owens has been grounded.

    (Andrew Mills, The Star-Ledger/US Presswire)

“He’s hit the wall,” the AFC executive said. “I think he has. I think it’s done or close to it. He’ll have a couple of games here and there where he shows up, but big picture, long term, I think it’s done.”

Through six games, Owens is off to arguably his worst start since his rookie season: 15 catches for 215 yards and one touchdown, and a yards-after-catch average (3.3) that is the lowest of his career. Part of the ineffectiveness can be blamed on the offensive pieces surrounding Owens, but personnel men familiar with his film say that’s hardly the only issue.

“I hear that he’s one of the greatest of all time, but I don’t buy it – never did,” said one general manager. “He drops balls. He’s not a natural catcher. He’s not a great route runner, blah, blah, blah. He’s big and strong and good with the run after the catch, if he catches it. I can give you 100 negatives. It’s just not worth it.

  • so you in? phillys and yankees?

Not me, I was hoping for and east coast Vs west coast World Series. Im in California and both LA teams SUCK. I know the Yanks need one more game to clinch the pennant, but the way LAA is playing, it wont take long. I know it ain't over till its over, but in my mind its over. I am not a happy camper and will not watch the WS.

Are looking forward to a philly/yankee series?

  • Are you frustrated with Answers?

I hate it when I pick a question to answer and I craft an answer that took some research and made some key points, to only loose my answer because ANSWERS had a problem of sorts. This has happened quite frequently lately and it really pisses me off when i feel like I have been wasting my time.

Let me know if you have experienced the same sort of thing lately and if there is anything we can do as users to voice our opinions to let the admin of answers know. your thoughts please.

  • It aint over till its over, so when is that?

    check this out http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=10012...

The school thought it had defeated Westland (Michigan) John Glenn when it blocked a last-second field goal attempt. But when its players ran off the field in celebration, none of the players realized that the ball hadn't crossed the line of scrimmage and was still in play.

No official had blown the ball dead.

So while Plymouth celebrated, John Glenn's Tony Wilton alertly picked up the ball and ran 33-yards for the winning score. It's a play, Wilton will never forget. Here's how it went down.

  • Is Crabtree worth $17 million guaranteed money?

Do you think the 49ers paid too much for Mike Crabtree, $32 million for the next five or six years. How do think he'll fit in the 49er offense and will he be an asset or bust like Alex Smith?

I think he will contribute this year, but not sure how they will use him with an offense focused on the run with Gore. Tight end Vernon Davis leads the 49ers in receptions with 17, with Bruce next at 13 and Morgan third with nine, can they spread it out any thinner and still win?

I certainly hope so. Whats your thoughts on the 49ers this year?

  • Whats the Abbreviations for Jaguars, Buccaneers, Titans?

OK... so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags" and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs", what does that make the Tennessee Titans ?

  • Why do you hate the Cowboys?

I am NOT a Cowgirl, cowpie, cowdung fan. It boils down to the many years the 49ers have faced them in the playoffs over the years. They have stopped us and we (49ers) have stopped them. But I really dislike/hate their owner Jerry Jones with his better than thou attitude along with his superficial plastic persona of america's team.

Why do you hate the Dall*SS?

Only the Cowboys are more despised than the Patriots. SportsNation singled out five teams fans loved to hate. The Cowboys drew 36 percent of the vote, followed by the Patriots (34 percent), Steelers (12 percent), Giants (9 percent) and Raiders (9 percent).

  • 49er fans, what's our chances this year making it into the playoffs?

I know its way early with the season opener this weekend, but what are the chances of the niners making the playoffs based on your knowledge about the team and their 3-1 preseason record? include your reason why they would make it or not.

I'm Guessing 9-7 with a wild card entry into the playoffs. Defense bend don't break will give up field position. Offense ground attack will setup the pass, eat the clock and score enough to win 9 games with at least one win against each of their division rivals.
