I have Multiple Sclerosis and have other conditions. I didn't ask to get sick (no one does). Over the past year or so, I have had to have 2 spinal taps, multiple MRI's (two with anesthesia b/c I am claustrophobic), multiple blood tests and other procedures done. I have insurance. They covered a fair amount. However, I am still about 10 thousand dollars in debt. Of course, every hospital, Dr. Office, Lab all want their money in FULL RIGHT NOW. I can't pay them. I can't even pay them 20 bucks a month each. I, like millions of other people have rent and utilities. I just don't understand how they can take ppl to collections over medical bills. It is not like I planned it.

I understand credit cards, loans, and any other service you may not pay. That's fine, take me to collections. Getting sick is different. I know a guy at work where is son has cancer. I am assuming his debt is in the hundreds of thousands. What is everyone else's opinion? Should medical debt be counted against your credit?

I am looking to apply at possibly Olive Garden or Fridays. Do I need a resume? I know its not a high-end restaurant, but I live in a college town and the competition is high.

If I write a resume, should I include how much in tips I made per night at the restaurant I worked at in high school and while I was in community college? I worked at a steak n shake and made really good tips. My friend said including this on a resume would show I was a good waitress.

We just got a Wii for Christmas and we want to get more games, but they are so expensive. My friend told me that I can get games from limewire. Are they safe? I have heard horror stories about limewire.

I am so claustrophobic, they are going to need to put me under anesthesia for 4 consecutive MRI's. Has anyone ever had anesthesia with an MRI? Does it act like anesthesia with a surgery where you are completely under? I have heard someone once say, they have you under, but you are kind of still awake but you don't know what is going on. I am just scare of MRI's and hopefully this will work.

I am having vision problems in one of my eyes. The vision is almost completely gone. Has anyone had these problems? Has it gotten better? Have they stayed blind?

I was diagnosed with this 3 months ago. I had a little vision loss when this first started. I was given diamox and have lost 16 lbs over a period of 2 months. Everything seemed to be going fine.

Within 3 days, the vision in my right eye is 98% gone. I called the doctor, and he told me to increase my diamox. This was Friday. I have been taking as directed, and have not noticed my vision getting any better.

Has anyone ever lost almost all of their vision and got it back. I took the meds as directed before this happened, and lost weight. I am not sure why my vision messed up. I know that sometimes it is not revearsable, but didnt know if anyone had a story with a happy ending.

I have a pseudo tumor/intercranial hypertension. I was diagnosed 3 months ago. My doctor's office was only opened today until noon. Both last night and today the vision in my right eye is getting worse. I can barely see. When I called the doctor's office, I had to leave a message for the nurse. Well, she never called me back telling me if it is an emergency. Should I go to the emergency room? I am not sure if my insurance would see this as an emergency. I go to the doctor on may 7th. This is less than 2 weeks away. I am not sure if i should wait b/c I do know what is going wrong. If I did go to the ER what could they do anyways?

I was diagnosed about 3 months ago. After having my spinal tap and being given diamox, my vision went back to normal and the pain behind my right eye stopped. I have even lost 5% of my body weight and have been exercising, drinking water, eating better etc. However, I woke up this morning and my vision in my right eye is going and I had the pain behind it again.

I have a doctor's apt 2 weeks from yesterday. I am not sure if I should call the doctor tomorrow or just let it wait for a couple of weeks since I know what is wrong and have the meds. What else could they really do?? I have seen online that having the paid and the vision loss can be an emergency- should I go? Or should I call the after hours number for the doctor?

I heard this song a year ago. In the chorus they are singing "oh la la la, la la la la la la la-LA LA LA, la la la la la la la la la la la la. (i know a lot of la's) anyways, it sounds to me as if it is a song from the 60's or 70's and it is a slow song. It also sounds if it is sung by a music group just not one person.

I am sorry, I do not know any of the other lyrics. I know it is not much help. Some of you prolly think i am a fool. I have searched google and yahoo but have found nothing. If anyone can give any suggestions, it will help. Thanks.

I have a blog that I have been working on for a while. I have recipes from my mother that have been "passed down" that have no source, I have recipes from friends, cookbooks, and online. All of the recipes I have tried and even have pictures of. The recipes I have found online, I have sited the source and included the link to the website. I have also done the same if it came from a cook book.

I am not charging for these recipes, but I do have google adsense and other affiliate links on my site. I have seen other people do the same with their blogs. Is this plagiarism? I am NOT trying to pass the recipes off as my own.

How do you really commit recipe plagiarism? I am sure there are thousands of stew, chili, cookie, brownie, etc, recipes out there. I am sure at one point someone's grandmother got a cookie recipe off of a box, added some vanilla and said it was their family secret. I have seen a few sites where it lists the ingredients and directions word for word. Thanks.

I recently had a spinal tap done about 2 months go. I was diagnosed with a psuedo tumor and given diamox. I am aware some side effects are tingling of my hands and feet-which I have had since I started taking it. I also noticed my face is tingling as well (which is not one of the side effects) Since Thursday, my lower half of my body (from my rear end all the way to my toes have been numb and tingling) I have tried walking around but it is only getting worse.

I am more than 100 lbs over weight and have PCOS. I am taking 2000 mg of glucophage for insulin resistance, but am not a diabetic. I have lost 10 lbs since I started to take the diamox. If the tingling is due to my weight, why would it start now that I am losing weight? Could it be from the spinal tap? The diamox?

My father and his mother also have edema (they are not overweight) I have had swelling in my feet for over a year, but it has gone down since I have started the diamox.

For the past 3 weeks, my cable internet has been working on and off, basically when it wants to. The first guy that came out said there was a kink in the cable cord and replaced it. It worked for 2 days, then quit for the whole weekend. Magically, it started working on Monday night then quit an hour later.

The cable guy came out AGAIN, and said it the modem was old and needed to be replaced. It worked for 10 hours or less, then quit again. I have done trouble shooting on the computer and it says everything is working okay. We have had this internet for over a year and it worked just fine until 3 weeks ago.

I asked a question in yahoo answers about 4 days ago and someone said something about a LAN card. What is that? I don't understand what is happening. If it is something with our computer, what could it be? Wouldn't the trouble shooting detect a problem? I do a virus check every week, and it does not have a virus.

I have cable internet access through comcast. We have had it for about a year now. We have had the cable go offline so many times. In the past, all we would have to do is power down the modem for 3 minutes and reboot the computer and it would go back online.

For the past two weeks, the internet has gone offline. We have called numerous times. There are no outages in our area. I have done the trouble shooting on my computer and it says all ports are fine. I have a virus scan that scans my computer every week, so i know I do not have a virus.

Comcast came to look at it last week, they said there was a "kink" in the cable cord and changed it. It worked fine for 2 days then quit. It was off for 3 days and then came back on. An hour later it shut off. The next morning it came back on again.

The online button on the modem is off, but when i check network connections on my pc, it says its connected at 100 Mbs. Could it be the modem or my pc? Please help!!

I have Comcast internet (which just switched over from a local internet service provider called Insight) Anyways, the internet used to work just fine. One day, the modem said the computer was offline. I tried the troubleshooting on our computer. It said all of the ports are working fine. I have done virus and spyware check, that is fine.

When I contact the cable company, they say the modem is offline and they have to have a tech come out to look at it. They came last week, and said it was something in the cable wire. It worked for 2 days then stopped. Last night, it started working again for 1 hour and right now it is working. (who knows for how long) I am not sure what could be causing this. The modem?

I am wanting to go back to school and am filling out my application for college. I am wanting to design web pages. I want to learn everything from how to develop the layout of the page to learning to design the graphics - the whole nine yards. The college application is asking what I want to go for, but there is such a wide selection of computer related degrees. Would it fall under a Web application developer? Web Media Designer? Computer programming? I know what it is I want to do, but don't know the exact term for it. I know its a stupid question but can anyone help?

I have been checking out Hostgator to host a wordpress blog or any website. I have checked into Yahoo as well as GoDaddy. I had GoDaddy at one time and could not figure it out for the life of me. I looked at the site builder on Hostgator and it was pretty user friendly, but I want to put google adsense and other affiliate links on my site. Can I even put java script or html on the site builders?

I checked out the CP portion with all of the specifics, but I do not understand what any of it means. I know a little about html, enough to make a website, but where would I put it? It mentioned something about Frontpage, but is it something I have to have already or does Hostgator come with it? Where do I put the code to actually make a site? What does all of this mumbo jumbo mean?

I make a spaghetti bake recipe using Rotini, spaghetti sauce, ground beef and shredded cheese. I usually bake it in the oven. I got a crockpot for christmas and am wanting to try this out. I work 8 and a half hours. I will be putting this in the crock pot before I go to work, which means it will be cooking for 9 hours.

I looked up other pasta crock pot meals which say to cook 4 to 6 hours. If I leave it in for 9 hours, do you think that is too long and may make the noodles too soggy?

I have to have a spinal tap. The doctor says I have to be there 2 hours prior. How long does the actual procedure last. I took the day off that day but my fiance has to work at 3 and the procedure starts at 1. He is the only one that I have to drive me home afterwards. Will they keep me there for a little while after or should I reschedule for an earlier time?

About 4.5 years ago, I wrote about 10 bad checks to Walmart. (yes i know, stupid) Anyways, I filed bankruptcy on them about 4 years ago I knew they may not be covered., and found out it did not cover it. Since then, I have been able to write checks at our local gas station, which has used chexsystems.

About 2 weeks ago, my consious got the best of me and I contacted Walmart to start paying them off. In the mean time, I went to the gas station, and they would not accept my check. I have not written any bad checks in all these years so I don't understand why I can't write checks at the same gas station I have been writing a check at for the past 2 years. Is it possible that Walmart reported me because I was actually was responsible about it and contacted them (after all of these years) to start paying it off?

I wrote about 10 bad checks 4.5 years ago. (yes I know I was stupid) I filed bankruptcy on them. The lawyer did tell me they may or may not accept it. After I filed, the store never contacted me. On a whim, I contacted them today. They said I still owed about $ 300.00. They said they did not send them to the state's attorney because they received my discharge papers, but techically it was still owed because the discharge letter did not list each check individually...and the only way to remove the checks from their system is to get this paperwork.

When I filed bankruptcy, I don't belive I listed them individually. If it didn't, I plan to pay them off. My question is since they have the bankruptcy paperwork, can they get sent to the state's attorney and have me get arrested? From what the lady said, techically the bankruptcy cleared the bad checks but at the same time, it didn't. I checked the statutes of limitations for illinois, but it just says "bad checks civil penalty"
