right i bought some frozen raw prawns it said they should be cooked from frozen for best results so i very quickly one to two mins stir fried them in a wok but they tasted VERY rubbery i still ate them but i would of been extremly embarressed to serve them to anyone other than myself.

the next day i allowed the prawns to defrost to see if there was any difference, the difference was minimal hot rubbery prawns what am i doing wrong?

batter. well i have just gone to get the flour and realized i have made the batter with self raising flour i make enough for about 10/12 family members every week so i have used 10 eggs i dont want to throw it away and haven't any plain flour or eggs left PLUS I HATE WASTE so will they (well imake one huge one actually) turn out ok? help me please i only have three hours to go. thank you my cooking fraternity and friends xxxxxxx
