Today, I had to call into work to say I wasn't going to be able to come in after my school schedule for college was changed. My manager quickly became angry and told me that the absence would not be excused and I was going to be reprimanded. I haven't received any warnings from management before, haven't been late, and I haven't missed a day. Last quarter I changed my schedule with my HR manager and there was never a problem. I'm wondering where do I go from here and what effect will it take on my record at work?
