I am an American college student in Nanjing and I want to meet some english speakers preferably 18-20 years old. My Chinese is really poor and I just want to have some friends to hang out with, maybe to go shopping, clubbing, etc. What is a good place I could go to meet some new people?

I am a Chinese-American college student with somewhat minimal chinese speaking ability (cannot read/write can speak and understand conversational chinese) and I am traveling to China in a couple of months. Through some family connections, I have obtained a job/internship at a company and will be staying in China for 3 months.

What is a good way for me to meet some english-speaking people my age (18)? I know it's kind of a strange thing to ask about but because of my poor Chinese, I am afraid I won't be able to connect and meet with other people and will end up extremely bored during my stay. Help!

I am traveling on a very strict student budget from Baltimore. My flight leaves from JKF Airport and I am planning on riding the Chinatown/Greyhound/Bolt bus from Baltimore to Port Authority in New York.
