At what month does baby need to move from the bassinet to the crib? My daughter is 2 months and starting to make the bassinet wabble when she kicks. I was thinking of bringing her play yard into our room until shes ready to move into her crib in her own room. im not quite ready to move her into her own room yet because her room is on the other end of the house and she hasnt established s sleeping routine yet. Thanks ahead of time.

  • Did I start my period?

I know I've asked a similar question, but I didn't get many responses.

Okay so I'm a breastfeeding mom, if I'm not breastfeeding I'm pumping.

Anyways, after having my baby I had 3 weeks of post partum bleeding. Then it stopped. Now at 5weeks post partum I'm bleeding heavily. Could this be my period?? Or am i continuing to bleed post partum? Thanks in advance!!

  • How much would you sell a sectional sofa (not new)?

help me figure out how much to sell my sectional sofa. It's a couple years old. No major damage, I did have to sew the zipper part up because the zipper came off, but you can't tell it's been sewn. It's really in great condition, bought along with a storage Ottoman for about $1000. I need to figure out how much to sell it. Please help.

  • Is it too late to start breastfeeding?

My daughter is 3 weeks old, born 4 weeks early. At the hospital, doctors and nurses took her from me so many times for testing because she was considered a premie that I didn't get enough chances to try to breastfeed. Eventually I learned that her latch wasn't strong enough to pull milk from my breasts.

I have been pumping these past few weeks just to meet her demand, and practicing with the breasts. I had planned to give up the breast because it seems as if she doesn't quite get it. She makes such a fuss, kicking and screaming that it get so hard for me to deal with. But now I am considering to continue to try and breastfeed. But is 3 weeks too late? Please help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  • How long did you wait to have sex after giving birth?

I know the recommendation is 6 weeks, I'm planing on waiting that long of course. Exactly six weeks after giving birth is my birthday and my husband and I we're planning on our first date night together. But since my doctor is unavailable that week, I have to wait the following week for my checkup. So I technically have to wait seven weeks to get the okay from my doctor. How long did you wait after giving birth vaginally?

  • Stocking my freezer with prepared meals. any ideas?

I am going to try the whole "stock your freezer" thing before my baby's arrival. But not sure what to stock it with. I would love to just be able to throw something into the crockpot and not worry about cooking for the first few weeks she's here. Any ideas on meals would be helpful. If you have links that will help as well. Thanks!

  • How to politely tell people not to touch my baby?

Okay, so maybe this may be a little harsh, but random people already come up to me and touch my baby bump. To me, it bothers me because it feels kind of like they should ask. I've never been one to get personal with a random stranger, touching my belly is kind of like a hug to me and I only share it with people I know and care about.

It frightens me because I'm getting much closer to my due date, only a month away, and I really don't want random people coming up and touching or holding my baby. I don't know where their hands have been and I don't know who they are. I know people are fascinated by babies but I just don't want this for her. I hope it doesn't seem rude, but that's my opinion. How do I politely tell them no? Is this normal to feel this way?? (I have no problem with close family and friends wanting to hold/touch her)

  • My friend is worried she's pregnant. a month late. Help please?

One of my friends has missed her period over a month ago. She took two tests at home and came over my house to take one of my extra tests I had here. All came back negative. She doesn't think its stress because she just got back from the beach with her partner. And is concerned that she may be pregnant, what should she do? My symptoms of pregnancy were pretty severe (morning sickness, fatigue, tiredness and soreness), I know all women are different, shes only had cravings, and urinates frequently now, so I don't know what to tell her other than to get a blood test. Please any advice would help.

  • Can anyone give me their opinion on the mirena (birth control)?

I was on birth control pills (Or tho Tri Cyclen) for about five years, I quit taking it once I was ready to have a baby, I'm due anytime now, and since I've decided to breastfeed, I have to make up my mind between the mini pill and mirena. Are there any women out there that can tell me if mirena worked for them or not. I need to make up my mind quickly. Thanks in advance! (No religious judgement please)
