Alright, Linuxians, I unpacked a tarball for the program I wanted, everything went fine and it produced the .bin file. When I double-click on the .bin file, it takes me to the package installer, that says the package is successfully installed. How do I actually run the program? I assume I'm looking for an .exe somewhere. I looked in usr/local/bin and usr/local/man and didn't see anything matching there. How do I actually run the program? I'm using Lubuntu. Thanks.

I'm troubleshooting this TV for a friend. It shows nothing on the screen but the red, standby light flashes 5 times repeatedly. I believe this indicates an LCD panel problem, but I could not confirm that the info I was using is correct for the model number. Does anyone have access to the service manual? I accidentally killed the power supply board with the test leads, but it seemed to work before then (3.3 volts at the stby terminal and 12v at the 12v terminals). I believe the LCD panel replacement is prohibitively expensive, correct? Thanks for any insight.

I've been trying to get some blurry waterfall or moving object shots. Whenever I choose slow shutter and turn off the image stabilizer, the picture still comes out clear. The starry-night mode gives you a slow shutter but it's a 15 second minimum---which might work on a waterfall if I get the apature right so it's not overexposed.

I also want to try some panning, moving object shots so the object appears clear and the background is blurry.

I heard a low-ISO can help, but in Intelligent ISO mode, it won't let you change shutter speed, and in normal mode, I can't figure out how to change ISO.

Are there any scene modes that will let me get a blurry shot? It seems like this camera is designed for clear shots, which is nice...except when you want blur.
