If a long lost friend turned out to live near me and confessed that they had a crush on me and they were gay, I'd like to be able to consider it openly.

I'm looking for opinions on this

While discussing past experiences with mood elevating medications that were prescribed to help with my anxiety disorder, I expressed a concern for my mood not suiting my circumstances to a relative and it was thought bizarre. Personally I find it disturbingly surreal to be chipper and upbeat as disastrous circumstances unfold, yet it seems those that I deal with most often would readily accept a smile forced on their faces, rather than to engage reality with diligence.

So what do you think? 'Give me happy screw reality' or 'I need to feel it somewhat or it just isn't real'

They don’t want regulation in business because half of what THEY do is immoral or illegal, but in bed…Ya, the guy to the left of your bed is FBI, the guy to the right is NSA, and the guy at the foot of your bed is FCC…sleep well ?

How can they be so contrary and not realize it?

Honestly if they do try to push through the Amero, won't the American people demand legal action?

The physicist building the large hadron super collider tell us it won't create a gravity/mass fueled sustained reaction, a black hole, but they aren't smart enough to make it work as intended?

perspective...I suffer from it and I have just seen an example of a more sever mental illness on T.V.

I have seen in the news that home values in North Carolina are the only place that it is not dropping, what industries are supporting this.

I'm divorced with kids they live there I do not, as a matter of surreal coincidence I saw these economic problems coming well in advance, and I was very uncomfortable with my kids being in the south when these problems hit. I need to know, for my own peace of mind...please.

in the rare instances that it has subsided I felt 'different' and I recognized the circumstances as significant, the first time I remember the relief of the anxiety subsiding was early in the morning during Christmas stand down aboard the ship I was serving aboard in the navy, the constant hustle was gone the majority of the crew was on leave, there was a quite stillness to the air from a fresh heavy snow.

MY QUESTION: have you ever felt such strong relief from constant anxiety...that you felt completely different?

I understand security concerns and years ago now, I gave our leadership the benefit of the doubt assuming they were acting on information they could not openly disclose.

Situations like that however, produce positive results despite the method seeming to be counter productive, I have not seen the results and the benefit of doubt is fading.

I understand they have no control, but if they utter something...do they know they have said it?
