We have 2 garden snails in a fish tank with soil, a small water container, rocks and small vegetation. We have had them a week and one is hiding under the soil. They have been eating spinach, tomatoe and apple.

What more can we feed them?

Will they hibernate while in the house?

Looking for more information keeping them happy and healthy.

My 12 year old Appy/Arab white horse grew a beard this winter. As I brush him lots of hair comes off him but not this beard. It is long and whispy, from his chin to his jaw. Ever heard of this??

I found a very dusty 12 string instrument in a thrift store and bought it. I never saw anything like it. A friend told me it is a lyre. It appears to be mahogany and the inside label says Sophia LTD in the UK. I cannot find this in Google. I want to clean and tune it. So far I have just wiped it off. Any help or direction would be appreciated. I am not a musician but was drawn to this instrument.

Saw this documentary 2 days ago. It is a MUST for every person to see.

I just brought home 13 baby quakers from a breeder who fell ill. They all are being handfed by ME.

The owner will want so sell them and I wonder what the market is on tame quakers. The 3 oldest are nearly fledged so may not be as tame as the babies. These came from 3 different nests. Some of the babies are plucked and two have small bites (from parents?) but seem okay.

Any advice would be deeply appreciated..
