Rogue Hobbies

The current afghan I am working on is 55 inches wide, and is going to be approximately 72 inches long {fitting a full size bed}. I am working it in sc only with a Boye "I" hook and Red Heart Super Saver yarn. If you worked a ripple afghan similar to this, how long did it take you to complete it? {approximate hours}.

I am wanting to know if I am making good time with my afghan, basically. Thanks!

I am getting a male cockatiel closer to Christmas time, and I need some ideas for names. I will be going by personality as well, but I don't want to go in blindly with no names thought of at all.

The only thing that I have thought of that I like is Tango.

The name shouldn't be more than 1 or 2 syllables, as I want him to learn to say his name, and it gets harder with 3 or more syllables in the name/word for them to say.

I don't want common names like Jack or Jerry or Mikey etc. Human names are fine, as are "animal" names, but not super common names please. Thanks!

If you could have ANY "real" {not mythical like dragons etc.} animal as a pet, what would you have? I will tell the two animals I'd love to have as pets when I select a Best Answer =D

I was born August 9, 1990, around 4 pm... They had to induce my mom's labor with me due to some issues.

The original due date was September 7, going by 9 months/36 weeks.

Going by the 40 weeks that they now say we're supposed to carry children, that would have put me at being full term around September 22-23 about.

I have never really shown signs of being a real Leo. I hate being the center of attention, I hate being the spotlight. I am a leader at heart but I am more silent about it. I don't have a real temper problem, I can get mad but I don't get mad very easily.

So, with the sun signs and planet alignments and the whole nine yards, is it possible that I am truly a Libra and not a Leo? Every time I read about Libras, I feel like I connect to that profile more than the Leo descriptions.

I need some help. I am trying to think of different names to give to my husband for him to think of a name he likes. He only likes ONE name for a boy... Ronin. Though I am not opposed to it, I still have a speech impediment lingering with the "R" sound. And he isn't even liking any other girl names. So, please give a boy & girl name through the alphabet, one name for each letter please. If he likes any of them, that will receive the best answer! =D

I PLAN on getting a female Border Collie, but in any case that a bond develops with a male instead, I'd like some suggestions for both male & female. I want the speckled black & white Border Collie, if possible, not just the normal black & white. If I can't find a speckled one that I connect with, then I will look for the normal black & white coloring.
