My kids are 14,16,17 and they at this point are all regressing terribly.. . We try to teach them work for money, you get what you earn..ect...but they see their friend who dont work, and get everything handed to them.

Ex..we bought our daughter a car, pay her ins..ect. she refuses to get a job, she carts her friends around in the car we pay for..but have to hear...they put the gas in it!! We take the car she will refuse to go to school, cause she drives to school 20 miles away. She wont ride the bus.

Sons, they sit in their room and play on the internet, from the time they get home from school til prob...10-12 pm.

My husband said, cut the dsl , cable and take the car!!

Now he is saying no Christmas for the kids they need to learn a lesson!! He said only gifts will be for himself and me...I just cant do that to my kids..he has control of 90% of the money at this point cause he works for himself and uses his bank account for mostly everything. what can I do to change his mind

I have some things in mind...such as

burgers , hot dogs, meatballs, sloppy joes, baked beans, salads, potato, macaroni, maybe a fruit salad, ambrosia, chips, pretzels, soda, bottled water, 2 --- 1/2-kegs of beer, but I am looking for more ideas of easy stuff to make considering, I was just sent back to work after an injury 4 months ago,,,,so my time to prepare is limited..along with being extremely tired after being gone from the house 11 hrs a day..

Any quick & easy ideas would be greatly appreciated.. again I am expecting apprx 100 people give or take a few. for no-shows.

How did you try to make it right?

I am looking for an ambrosia recipe, which has mandarin oranges, banana, pineapple, whipping cream, (NOT cool whip)

mini marshmallows...and i am not sure what else is in it or how to make it.

My mother in law used to make it and well, we havent been on speaking terms for about 8+ yrs so I cant very well call and get the recipe now can I? LOL

Seems when I bake the cookies are soft for such a short time, I would like to know if there is an additive maybe they put in SOFT cookies?
