A toaster is rated as 1200W and a mixer as 500W, both at 220V. How much energy do these appliances use if both work for an hour?

This is straight from the book. The answer is 1.71 kW/h but i dont know how to get there

The motherboard is pretty old. It's a PTGD-LA (Goldfish3) and i was just wondering what i could get for it. It will only be used for simple office tasks and nothing too strenuous but i was looking for something with atleast 2 cores (preferably 4).

Again, not looking for the fastest thing in the world, i just want something better than the one it came with.

So i recently played the Batman Arkham City Demo on PS3 and thought it was great so i decided to get but realized that there was Arkham Asylum before it. The point is that i need a recommendation of wether to play Arkham Asylum before Arkham City or does it even matter because i really just feel like jumping into City and skipping Asylum

I have an AMD Radeon 7850 from gigabyte 1gb (clocked at 900mhz)

Other Specs:

PSU is 500w

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 940 (3ghz)

RAM: 4gb

I want to know if it is safe for me to overclock my GPU with AMD Overdrive. Just a little bit. Not too much of course. I want to do this as i do not get high enough framerates while playing Assassins Creed III even though i meet recommended settings for the game. Just want a little more of a "push". Can it be done safely?

I know its a real bug when people ask these but i cant find any free site that will give you an FPS meter for your specifications. Thanks in advance :)

I just want an overall conclusion.

And will it speed up my gaming experience.

If i currently have $150 to spend should i get the GTX650 TI, save 50 more for an ATI 7850 (2gb of course), or save and extra $30 for a $230 GTX 660. I really want to get playing some of the more recent games but would it be better to wait or will the first card be ok for now.

If i just happened to find both at the same price which should i get.

I have made my mind to get an ATI 7850, but i have seen that the card is 13 in. by 2 in. by 10 in.

I measured my computer case and it is way to small for this. I saw videos of the actual card and it does not seem at all close to that size, it seems way smaller. Was it a mistake where they meant centimeters?

Will i need a huge case for this graphics card.

Which version of these two AMD processors are better for the price they are being sold for. I want to save as much as possible for my new rig but also including performance.

I watched The Dark Knight (and the whole trilogy) but i never read any Batman comics. I was about 6 when i saw Batman '89 so i dont really remember anything about the Joker from that movie (supposing it gave a back story) but im not willing to watch it just to figure this out.

In the movie he gave 3 reasons why he has the scars but i don't know which one is true or if he makes all of them up. So can someone tell me why he has those scars or is it something that the creator of Batman did not want people to know just to make him more mysterious?

I wanted to know if there were any god adult/porn movies out there that i could watch. I want it to have a story line where the boyfriends cheats on a girl somehow and then someone ends up dying. I kinda want it to be like Babysitters (2008). It would be best if you have seen it and could recommend it. I just don't want to watch a two hour movie that was boring from the start.

The best processor i can get is a AMD Phenom ii x4 850 (3.3 ghz)... Is this good for Assassins Creed 3

I want to know what would be better(both GeForce)... A GTX 560, or a GTX 550 TI Superclocked.

I am planning on buying either one and wanted the 550 because it was cheaper and performed a little faster. But now i am rethinking this and don't know if superclocked will ruin the card. And if getting the 560 superclocked/overclocked would be better than it would be great if you could tell me.
