if I enjoy playing video games, does that mean I would enjoy working in the industry? Pls answer?
I have an interview for a runner position tomorrow and I'm unsure if It's what I would really want.
I don't want to sit infront of a computer all day so I'm guessing if I progressed in the company, pretty much every position would require me to do that.
Thanks:)

It is limited edition but could more shipments go to retailers. Do Nintendo have any more that they have held back to be shipped out?

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games8 years agoIs hair at it's strongest when it feels soft, light and looks shiny or when it feels thick and heavy.?
It seems as though thick, heavy hair should be stronger but is it the opposite? would the heavy hair pull on the roots too much causing breakage?
I'm a guy with long hair and was just wondering really wheher I should have it soft or heavy
Thank you:)

Or an alternative shampoo if you know of any great ones.
I'm a guy with hair just below my shoulders if that helps and would like it fuller.
Thank you :)

1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance8 years agoCould somebody please tell me how muchimport duty tax I would have to pay for these items?
Okay, it's the total price i would like to know, so import tax, customs tax plus VAT combined. One item is 20 pounds plus 9 pounds postage from the US to the UK.
Another item is 18pounds plus 30 pounds postage from Australia. Crazy postage but I can't really get these anywhere else. Thankyou:)

2 AnswersCorporations9 years agoWhat is the best but also reasonably cheap piano to learn to play on?
I'm looking to learn the piano and a keyboard just wouldn't be the same to learn it on. A piano also looks really cool in a room.
My budget would be about 700pounds (or 1200 dollars). Could maybe stretch for a really good one
Is there a review site or could you recommend me one from personal experience?
How long will it take to read the music?

4 AnswersPerforming Arts9 years agoFirefighting or military. Which is most dangerous?
Just weighing up possible career options just now.
Anyway, I know there are different branches and aspects to military work but generally do a higher percentage of firefighters get killed than military? What about wounds? Finally, what about post job complications like traumatic stress for military and smoke inhalation from the firefighters when they were on duty.
What is the most dangerous job.
One more thing. I'm basing this question upon the military when deployed, not stationed at their home base
Thank you:)
3 AnswersMilitary9 years agoWhat are the risks of being a firefighter(Danger related risks)?
I'm looking to get a job/career soon but so many jobs, not even great ones, require you to have lots of life experience which currently I don't really have(I'm 19) and I don't really know what to do career wise. I could go to college or university and get a degree but I don't want to invest 4 years and get into debt to get a degree and no job afterwards which happens pretty frequently
I was wondering what the main risks of being a firefighter are. I hope it doesn't sound too stupid but do they get burns? How much time are you actually fighting the fire and how much time are you helping at road collisions etc.
I'll probably stop in at a station as well to get some info but this is a good way to get initial ideas.
I'm from the U.K so is the job any different here than in the U.S.A or is it pretty much the same.
Thank you:)
2 AnswersCivic Participation9 years agoAre there any jobs on a cruise ship where you don't need qualifications to apply?
I have some qualifications, no degrees though but it seems that most of the roles require you to have previous experience in a field. For example, I think I would make a good casino worker as I can work with numbers to a decent level but it says that you need experience in a related field-which I don't have-as i've never really had a job(i'm 19).
Can you still apply even if you don't meet minimum requirements?
Thank you:) (I wouldn't take a cleaning job though)
7 AnswersCruise Travel9 years agoHow can I choose a career when I know what my interests/likes and abilities are?
I'm trying to decide what career would be right and I know what my likes, dislikes and my abilities are. How can I comprise these aspects into career options.
Is there someone I could go to to say for example "I'm interested in nutrition and sport" and they would say "sport coach/PE teacher".
Is there a site to put your interests into and they will give you a list of things that you would enjoy?
Thank you:)
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoWhat jobs are there in the video games industry that don't involve working with a computer?
I would like to work in this field but don't want to be staring at a screen all day. I would assume writers and artists don't use one but are there any others?
Thank you:)

7 AnswersMilitary9 years agoI'm thinking of buying a NES and a few games with it. Are there different formats of game like PAL and NTSC?
I have an xbox 360 and lots of recent consoles but I always play retro games, hardly ever new ones, so if I buy a NES or Super Nintendo, will I have to watch out for what versions of games I buy or was the whole NTSC/PAL/JapanNTSC only in use for ps1?
Are the wrong formatsa as much of an issue as if you put an NTSC into a PAL ps1 or will it still work?
Thank you:)
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games9 years agoWhat career should I do in life?
Okay, so i'm 19 and still don't really know what career I want to do and to be honest even after thinking about it for ages, still can't decide. If I suddenly realise what I think I may enjoy, about a day later I don't wan't to do it any more. I've wanted to be an astronaut, firefighter, an RAF career, personal trainer, builder, sailor, police officer and many more but as soon as I think that's what I wan't to do, I change my mind.
I'm due to be starting college on Monday(in the UK-Scotland specifically) but I don't really want to do the course anymore so i will probably call them and say i wont be attending. The course is to do with multimedia and as much as I enjoy things like that I really dont want a job (or course) where i'm sitting down for 10 hours per day. I really need to be active.
I would really like to pursue a sport career as a professional and dedicate my life to that. Swimming is my best option now as I've realised that my golf isn't really gonna take me anywhere. Should I pursue this?(turned up one day and done 23 seconds for 50 metres without practice or training if that helps) and the Commonwealth games are in my current hometown of Glasgow which may be something to aim for. Swimming is what i'm edging towards at the moment but it may be because i have nothing elsa really lined up
What age were you when you decided on what career you wanted?
Thank you very much for any help, advice or recommendations:)
