  • Universe expansion?

    Hi folks. If the entire universe started off as a single point and has been expanding ever since, how come we are still receiving energy from the first few seconds (ie coming from billions of light years aways). Surely "we" (as in, our bit of the universe) should have received all that energy billions of years ago when the universe was much smaller. Does that mean that the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light?
