It s been well 16 weeks since my amended tax return was received. I m getting annoyed. I call them and I m hold for an hour and then just get disconnected. All it says is they received it on August 19, 2016. It has not been processed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Has anyone had this happen.

I've always wondered this... well a spouse dies or you think they've died are you still married to them. For example in soap operas they die and come back all the time. I know it's TV, but I'm sure it happens sometime in real life with undercover police and FBI work. This is a serious question. No silly answers please. Again I'm just curious and it's been something I've wanted to know.

This may sound stupid, but now with all these rules and regulations about sending items, can you still send food through the postal service? Like could you cook food for someone and mail it to them?

I have to research and do a presentation on a photographer for my history of photography class. I was thinking of doing it on Elliott Erwitt. I'm trying to find out what his contribution to the medium was. I know he did the humor-based photographs and brought visual wit the medium. Would this be his major contribution? We have to do our project on a photographer we don't cover in class. So the more well-know photographers are taken. Any suggestions of books or other photographers would be appreciated if I'm unable to choose him for my project.

I'm in the market for a new laptop since mine has turned out to be a piece of junk over the almost 4 years I've had it. It's a Gateway so no gateway suggestions. I've had my hard drive and mother board crash one me, and have continuously seen the blue screen. Now I'm getting bad error messages after it was fixed. I have no warranty left on it and to me it's not worth getting fixed. I'm a broke college student and need something affordable, but reliable. I'm really not a PC fan at all. I haven't had luck with any of them for that matter, but I can't afford a MacBook it's completely out of the question unless I miraculous come into some money.

Every time I click on internet explore on my desktop computer it gives me this: Windows cannot find 'C:/program files (x86)/internet explore/iexplore.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.

I don't know what happened. My mom was on the computer before me and this e-set 2011 thing popped up. I guess she clicked something and it started scanning. We don't even have that we have McAfee. It said our computer was infected with so many viruses and malware etc. When i scanned our computer with McAfee it came back clean. I don't know what is going one but we cannot get onto IE but my yahoo and AIM messengers work perfectly. Basically its just internet explore. IE was working fine until all of that happened. I think it was some scam or something. Can you please help me.

I just recently purchased a film camera, a Canon EOS Rebel GII and I got two lenses with them: EF 35-80mm and a EF 80-200mm. This may sound like a dumb question but can I use these lenses on my Digital camera, a Canon EOS Rebel t1i and vice versa?

I have to write a business for my small business management class and I'm have a hard time starting it. I'm doing a Interior design business with some online services. The book for the class is okay, but I don't know. Like I said i'm having a hard time starting it. Is there any sites that can help me or some advice you all can give. Thanks!

I recently visited Oakland County Circuit Court in Pontiac, Michigan for my Criminal Justice class. I didn't get the chance to give a description of the courtroom layout for Judge Sosnick. We have to describe what the courtroom looks like and I'm kind of blanking on the layout. I know the Judges desk/podium is at the front with the judges clerk to my right. The jury seats are two my left and then the prosecutor's area is to my right and the defense against the left. Basically I can't fully remember how many benches were in the room. I tried looking for the layouts online but didn't have any luck. I also have this feeling there was green carpet but I could be mistaken. Your help is much appreciated. Also no funny answers I'm being serious about this.

For my Criminal Justice Assignment we have to research who Wilbert Rideau is and the issues that surround him. I have searched and searched for them and the only thing I can find is the ethical issue surrounding new book that came out this year, but honestly I don't even know what to write about it. And why are there ethical issues? I'm stuck and this is due in a few hours. Help please.

I have to read the Opinion slip (Oct. 2009) for this case from my criminal justice class. I'm having a hard time following as every other word is a number or abbreviated word or symbol. This is my first criminal justice class and I'm slowly learning it all. What i'm getting is that its about insanity defense and what not. I've been trying to figure this out for days. I have been getting Error code 646 on my laptop, Windows Vista a couple times. I have read different things saying turn of your firewall. Does that fix the problem completely or just temporarily? It worked for me once but it looks like its not working again. Its my best bet getting a repair tool?

Okay, I have this assignment for my advance digital photography class. Its basically a night time long exposure but the again it doesn't necessarily have to be at night. I'm sure you know what I mean. I am using my cousins Nikon d3000 camera, because I don't have one suitable for the class at the moment and probably won't. I was just wondering what kind of tips you could give me. I'm fairly new to the photography world and my professor isn't helping much. All he did was show us pictures of night/day time long exposures. I know this might seem like a dumb question, but like I said i'm fairly knew and just know the basics after taking beginning digital photography. I have a different professor for this class I'm in now. No handouts were giving in the class and I'm just frustrated. Example websites would be great too. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.

I have this assignment for the Intro to Criminal Justice class and I know basically what do and have all the information. What I'm stuck on is what to call the Programs. Here's the assignment...

You are a Michigan legislator focusing on a 10 million dollar grant earmarked for the criminal justice system. You have to decide who gets the money, i.e. which state, county and or city law enforcement agencies. You have to decide what requirements will be put on the agency in using the funds (how they are to use the funds - programs and or enforcement). You must decide the allocation to each program by using the Michigan Uniform Crime Reports and its statistical information to support your allocation. You should do multiple allocations (at least 3) in other words do not put the 10 million in only one program. The assignment should include no less than two typed pages with proper references to the data used and any other sources used as a works cited / Bibliography as an additional page. Reading Chapters 2 first will help with this assignment.

So basically when I write this I'm not sure what to call the programs and what not. Like I don't think Murder Fund Program is right. I know this is kind of a dumb question but my mind is blanking and I can't think of anything. Please help. Thanks

I have a beagle, he's 2 years old. He's not acting too funny, but slow i guess. He didn't eat all his food right away tonight. He looked at it and walked away. Finally he did eat it all. I gave him a raw hide to chew on and it took him some time, longer than normal. At first her kept licking it then finally he was able to eat the whole thing pretty fast. I noticed while he was chewing on it he opened his mouth then it locked for a moment or two then went back to normal. It happened a couple times. I tried looking down in his mouth to see if i saw something and I didn't. I know my mom has been taking him for walks everyday in this hot weather for the past three or four days. I thought maybe it was taking a tole on him right now. Also he dug up an old bone he buried a while ago. I thought maybe it upset his stomach a little. I just noticed when he was outside he had some druel on him but nothing excessive. My mom noticed some again when he was inside, but again nothing major. Also i noticed he smacks his lips like he's got peanut butter on the roof of his mouth but we never gave him any. the licking isn't excessive just when he lifts his head up. He eats his treats that i gave him also and anything else he was given. So his appetite isn't going away completely. Help I don't know what's going on. This just started today - July 18, 2010

I'm writing a research paper that has to contain ethos, pathos, and logos. I was wondering what some controversial issue i could write about. I have been researching and researching and I have found nothing of interest because the ones i want are restricted.

P.S. We had a long list of restrictions of topics not allowed including: capital punishment, drugs, stem cell, religion, gay writes, cloning, euthanasia, etc etc. basically all the good stuff was gone. The prof. reason: Too many papers on those topics. So basically I have no idea what to do and we were suppose to have a draft or something written today and I have nothing.

I need a topic for an argumentative essay for my Comp. 2 English class. We are not allowed write about: capital punishment, gun control, euthanasia, religion, cloning and stem cells, gay marriage, smoking issues, abortion, video games, legalizing drugs, changing the drinking age. Her reason... Because she's had too many papers on that. *rolls eyes* But please i need ideas i cannot seem to find anything that she likes... She like is that really controversial.
