So last week my friend asked me to go on a four day camping trip with him. I didnt think he was entirely serious because it would require him sneeking out of his house, but nevertheless i said i would go if he wanted to. However something came up, with my girlfriend maybe two days later and now I have plans to spend the weekend with her and her father. My friend said he wanted to leave on thursday and come back sunday. I've tried to reschedule with him, but he's made it well convincing that this is going to be his only chance to go. I can tell he really wants and, as he says, "needs" to go, but I'm just not sure I can now. I actually really do want to go with him, but I've already canceled twice on meeting my girlfriends father, and I dont want him to think bad of me. My friend is now really upset with me for doing this, after I pretty much promised him I'd go... but I just don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
