  • Should I be hurt by his actions?? Opinions please!!! 10 POINTS for best answer!!!?

Have been in a long distance relationship for over two years. We are planning on moving in together at the start of the new year. We have a wonderful relationship for the most part, but we are experiencing our first fight right now.

In the past, whenever he was feeling down, hurt, or sad, I made it a priority to be there for him. There has been times( many times), I would rearrange my work schedule, jump in my car in the middle of the night, and drive over 4 hours to be with him, just to give him a hug, and to let him know that I will always be there for him.

I just lost my job that I had for over 8 years this week. Everyone was sending me their condolences, support, offering to help out with money and what not. All I got was a couple of random texts from him, saying that he wishes he could give me a hug and that he loves me, and that is it. Nothing else...no call, nothing. He was out with some friends that night, and I didn't expect him to jump in the car and make the drive, but a five minute phone call would have been nice. The next day, he didn't text me until 9 that night, still no call, and the text had nothing to do with what I am currently going thru. I ended up emailing him that night telling him it hurt me that I got moral and emotional support from everyone but him. He told me that he saw no point with texting or calling me because that would not have eased any of my worries!? I just emailed back that I wasn't looking for a solution, I was looking for comfort, the same kind of comfort I always show you when you need it the most. Have yet to hear back from him. So, opinions, do I have a right to be hurt and angry over his lack of empathy and communication? He went thru this same exact thing over a year ago, His money was running out, so I took a week vacation from work, showed up at his house, filled his entire kitchen with groceries, and made him a home cooked meal everyday that I was there! I am at a loss of words on his actions!! Insight please!

  • Boyfriend is acting a little weird...need opinions!!!! 10 POINTS!!!!?

I am in a long distance relationship with my guy for over two years. He is planning on moving in with me next year. We are both in our 30's, and because of our age, I cannot believe I am even going through with this.

We communicate frequently by phone, text, and email, but never through facebook. He is rarely on there because he thinks it is silly. Anywho, our profile pics are of each other, and has been that way for 2 years. Recently my sister came and visited me (whom I only get to see maybe once every couple of years due to location) Well, I changed my pro pic to my sister and I. And then I also posted a youtube video of one of my favorite songs (which happens to be a break-up song, but I love it) After that, I had noticed that my guy has been real short with me through texts....not his typical lovey-dovey self. Asked him what was up, and then he told me that it made him really sad to see that he is no longer in my pro pic, and is worried that I want nothing to do with him because of the song I posted??? We have a wonderful relationship. We never fight, we still act like we did when we first met each other. The sex is awesome....and he has been hinting at marriage, which I told him that I would be honored to take his last name when the time comes. So, why would he assume these things of me. Over a song and a pro pic? It is not like it was me and another guy, it was a silly pic of me and my sister. So, to prove to him that I do indeed love him, I dropped what I was doing in the middle of the night, and drove over 3 hours just to give him a hug and to tell him that I love him in person. He says he is sorry for all of this, but I have no ideas where this would come from. Could he be getting cold feet about moving in with me? Could he be having second thoughts? Opinions please!!!

  • Why do some men act like this??? 10 POINTS!!!!!!?

My guy and I told each other who our celeb crushes are. Of course, his main crush is Megan Fox. I told him mine in return....not thinking too much of it. Well, I have noticed that we no longer watch movies with the actors I find good looking, or even listen to music to one of the bands I have a crush on...even though in the past, he would always play them becuase he knew I liked them (before he knew of the crush) I never talk about them....just the one time when we brought it up. He will tell me from time to time that he will think of his celeb crushes when he masturbates....and I tell him that I don't always think about him when I masturbate, that I too think of various people. He seemed hurt by that. Now with the whole Magic Mike movie, I to that I went toold him that I went t go see it with my friends, and now he has to point out from time to time how he cannot stand Channing Tatum, even though I have expressed to him that that man does nothing for me( not big into the whole beefcake look) He even went as far as apologizing that he doesn't look like him and that he cannot give me what Channing can offer. What is up with that?? He checks out good looking girls when we are out, and he caught me checking out a good looking guy and he called me on it!? We girls have eyes too, we girls like looking at good looking people as well. I get it and I don't get upset when he does it....unless it is in a disrespectful way! So why does he get all pouty and baby like when I do the same thing??? I don't get it. I thought it was kinda cute at first, but now I am ready to buy him a pack of diapers!!! Insight in the male mind please!!! And the saddest part is....we are in our mid 30s...not high school, even though this sounds like a childish problem....hence me wanting to buy him diapers!

  • Men and masturbation?

My guy and I were having a conversation about when we masturbate. He tells me that he can get off looking at female underwear ads in the paper, images on the internet, porn, and what not. He seemed a little bit shocked that that did not bug me. He then went on saying that I am so cool that I don't get jealous of him getting off thinking about other women. I said why should I....it's not like I don't think of other men ( or women) when I masturbate. I said, I too don't always think of you. I could tell by the look in his eyes that it bugged him. Why would it bug him that I think of other people other than him when I masturbate ( most people don't think of their significant other...kind of defeats the purpose of fantasy) when he JUST told me that he thinks of other hot girls??? What is up with that? Guys, would you get jealous if your girlfriend masturbates thinking of other people....even though you do it yourself?? If the answer is yes, then why?????

  • I am hurt and upset....should I be???? 10 POINTS!!!!! NEED OPINIONS!!!!?

I have been seeing my guy for over two years. We are in a long distance relationship and he is planning on moving in with me this Feb. We have a wonderful and loving relationship! This is the first bump in the road. For his bday, I had purchased 2 tickets to his favorite football team, along with passes to do a stadium tour. Since his fondest childhood memories are going to games with is Dad, I told him he should take his dad! He was so greatful. He wanted me to meet up with him last night to tailgate with them before the game, so I did, and we had a blast. He wanted to come and see me today or meet up before they left town to say goodbye in person. I told him no at first, and just enjoy the time with your Dad....plus having a long drive ahead of them. He said no, and that he insisted on seeing me just for a bit when they were done with the tour. I agreed, and he told me he will call me today. This afternoon, I waited around for over two hours, not hearing a peep out of him. After awhile, I text him telling him that I was very sorry that I no longer can meet up with him because I had to get ready for work and hope they are enjoying the tour. He text back right away telling me that they have been on the road for over 30 minutes and told me he loved me. Is it right for me to be hurt and upset that he just upped and left without saying goodbye to me like he said he was going to...more like insisted he was going to??? It is probably going to be a month before we are able to see each other again. I would have understood if he text me saying that they are pressed for time and cannot stop by like planned....but nothing...no call, no text, no goodbye!!! Opinions please!!!!

  • Guy, how would you feel if your girlfriend did this??? 10 POINTS!!!?

My man is going through some rough times financially. He recently lost his job, due to the company he had worked for for years downsized. His funds are on a rapid decline, and he has been looking for a new job everyday, and has not had any success. A few weeks ago, I offered him a loan ( I couldn't care less if he paid me back, but said loan to lessen the blow on his pride) He said thank you, but no and he really appreciates the offer. Well he came up to me last week, very embarrassed and asked if that offer still stood. So I lent him the money that he needed to catch up a months worth of bills and was very grateful, but could tell it panged him to even accept it. When I was over there, I'd noticed his cupbords were bare of food. We are in a long distance relationship, and I will be spending an entire week there in a couple of weeks. So, I was thinking of showing up with loads of groceries, and tell him instead of us always going out to eat, I will make him a nice made from scratch dinner every night that I am there, that way he has a good meal to come home to after a long day of interviews and searching. If you were in his position, will you be happy and thankful at this gesture, or think of it as a form of charity?? If I was in his positon, I know he would insist on doing the same, but women are not bound to our egos and pride like men can be! It hurts me to see him down like this, I just want him to be back to his old happy self again, and to know, that no matter what happens, I will always love him and be there for him, but at the same time, I don't want him to feel any worse about himself by me doing this. Opinions please!!!!! Also, been going out for over two years....so I know he is not some kind of mooch that will take advantage of me.

  • Hypothetical question...would love for ALL to answer!!! 10 POINTS!!!?

Just curious and a little bored. If your husband/wife(boyfriend or girlfriend), whom you love very dearly, came up to you one day and told you that you are allowed just one time to have unattached sex with anyone you want, no questions asked, and no punishment what-so-ever! Would you do it?? Honest answers here. Is love strong enough to pass up a chance of a night of hot sex with someone other than your spouse(or SO)...or would you go for it? Why or why not??

  • Guy's honest opinion please!!! 10 POINTS!!!?

In a long distance relationship, my guy lives 3 hours away. It is my turn to go and see him tomorrow. He works the late shift, 5pm to 5am. He usually eats when he first gets home. So, I was thinking of surprising him by being there when he gets home. I am planning on making him a made-from-scratch breakfast of his favorite foods, but I will be wearing a skimpy little french maid outfit that leaves little to the imagination. Is that something that most guys would love to come home to...even after a long night at work? We have been going out for over two years, so I like to do things every once in a while to keep things exciting! But I will hate to go through all that trouble if all he wants to do is eat and go right to bed. I know you guys cannot answer for him, but if you were put in a situation like this, and came home to that....how would you feel and react?? Thanks for your opinions!!
