Someone I know had two epidurals in a week for back pain (done by the NHS at a hospital). A couple of days after the second one, the veins in their arms had swollen up and they were in a lot of discomfort. It got so bad that they went to the hospital A & E department, were examined and told by the hospital that they could not find anything wrong, despite seeing the swollen veins. The next morning the person suffered a major heart attack and was only then rushed to hospital by ambulance. Can a wrongly administered epidural cause a heart attack?

I work for a small company of which I used to run the office until new owners, husband and wife took over a couple of years ago. Other employees have told me over the last few months about comments they have been making to me behind my back, basically slagging off my abilities, saying I'm lazy etc. I carry out all the admin, clean the office, more or less everything. I even went on a computer course to learn Excel and all our invoices are now on spreadsheet etc. It seems nothing I do is good enough. I stick at it because I need to earn, plus with my age (mid forties) don't feel confident to start the whole business of starting afresh in a new job. Any advice please?

I'm hoping to have a glut of tomatos in a few weeks and would like a good recipe for oven drying, then preserving (jars &olive oil?). Never done it before, but like the taste of sun dried tomatos. As I live in England, I don't see much chance of being able to sun dry them!

He died of prostate cancer, slowly and agonisingly, as with is the case with many cancers. I want him back so badly I somethimes don't know what to do with myself. I know it's unreasonable, but I can't help how I feel.
