  • Photoshop question (dimension, resolution, and resampling)?

I'm confused about the relationship between the 3. suppose I have a 2432x3648 image at 180ppi, what happens if I increase the resolution, but at the same time decrease the dimensions to 2000x3000? what about unchecking the resampling box and then increasing the resolution? what about first unchecking the resampling, then increasing the resolution, save, and then checking the resampling and decrease the dimensions? which would increase the quality of my picture?

  • just got out of the ER, what happens next?

I got alcohol poisoning and woke up in the ER. after waking up, the nurse simply asked me if they should call a taxi for me. I said no and they just told me I can leave. there was no mentioning of paying whatsoever... they didn't say anything and there were no papers. now I'm worried that I'll just one day find a huge bill in my mailbox. has this ever happened to anyone else? what do I do now? do I still have to pay? I have no memories of what happened

  • Who should I cosplay as?

I'm going to an anime convention in like a month but I don't know who should I cosplay as. Mind you, I want to look GOOD and CONVINCING when cosplaying. So I don’t want some random character simply because he is from your favorite anime. With that being said, I’m an Asian guy, 5-foot-10ish. Here’s the Facebook link to one of my pictures so you can see what I look like:

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3657533067...

As you can see, I have thick eyebrows and my facial features are not that sharp, which means many of the popular characters (Naruto, Luffy, blah blah blah…) are out of option. And also, my body is muscularly defined but lean, so no beefy characters.

Yea, it would be really great if you can tell me which characters I resemble the most. And by the way, I prefer the characters’ clothes to be not too fancy, as in something I can assemble/find at home (even better if the character goes around bare-chested). I wear glasses but do wear contacts if that helps.

  • finding the dimensions of a cone that minimizes the surface area given a fixed volume?

so the volume of the come is 1000 cubic cm. what dimensions (radius and height) would minimize the surface area?

so the volume=(1/3)(pi)(r^2)h and the surface area=(pi)(r^2)+(pi)(r)(√r^2+h^2)

I changed the 1000 cubic cm to 10 cubic m and got h as 30/((pi)(r^2)). then I substituted it in for the h in the surface area formula and got really confused by the square roots. I kept on going and got through the derivative and everything and came up with r=2.53 cm and h=149.19 cm which I don't think is right at all.

can someone please show me the answer and how to get it?

  • Help, my hermit crab is being very picky!?

I have 2 hermit crabs, both of them are picky eaters. I tried giving them a variety of foods; but now they seem to be only interested in gold fish flakes. They won't even eat bananas and coconuts. I'm worried that since gold fish flakes is not formulated for hermit crabs continuous consumption will not be good in the long run.

  • what's that show called... (please read the description)?

I remember this show from a few years ago. basically it's the Olympic games with animals in it. in it, they scaled all the animals to the same size and computer edited them so that they appear to be doing those Olympic events in an actual stadium. (there was one episode where the center field caved in and got filled with water, and the swimming competition is held there) I also remember that they divided up the teams according to what kind of animals they are; so there's a fish team, a mammal team, a bird team, an amphibian team, and a bug team.

any one know what that show is called?

  • a lump...? (please read the description)?

so one night I was adjusting my boxers because it was riding up, I found this lump the size of an m&m on my buttock. it's pretty shallow, lying just beneath the skin. on the skin surface directly on top of it is this little pimple thing. so I squeezed the lump and this thick fluid came out, it feels almost like toothpaste and it's white and very foul-smelling (smells like poop). I don't think it's a serious condition but I want to know what happened.

  • Corsage for Homecoming Dance, Phantom of the Opera Style?

ok, so I'm planning this corsage for homecoming and I want to make it Phantom-related. currently my ideas are: the red rose from the musical and the white rose from "Phantom" by Susan Kay. I'm also going to tie black ribbons around them. By the way by my date would be wearing an off-white color.

right not I'm not sure what to choose. the red rose will be more familiar but I don't want to be too obvious about it. the white rose will go better with her dress but I'm afraid that a white rose combined with a black ribbon will look like something for a funeral

    which one should I choose???

  • tiny blisters on skin after sweating?

I am a very active person. every summer through fall, after a heavy, sweaty workout, I notice these tiny blisters on my arms. they are about the size of pimples and contain clear fluids and won't pop unless I scrap them with my finger nails. sometimes a couple shows up on my chest and thighs as well. they kind of go away during winter and spring. the blisters doesn't cause me any discomfort but many people are concerned. my parents are not concerned and said that my skin pores are blocked and some sweat gets trapped under my upper skin layer but I don't believe it.

does anyone else have the same problem
