On my Brazilian Portuguese materials, they say to use "o senhor" and "a senhora". I've read also that "tu" is not normally used, only in certain places and certain dialects. So is "você" the commonly accepted form to use? For both familiar and polite? When would you use "você" and when would you use "o senhor"?

I recently enlisted in the US Army as a 68w or health care specialist, also known as combat medic. How likely would my chances be of being assigned in Germany as a member of the army, specifically this MOS? It's my dream to live in Germany.

With no disrespect to anyone serving in those branches, I am wondering what it is they actually do. Army and Marines are the ones on the ground doing the fighting. They're the ones doing the work and, sometimes, giving their lives. But what do the Navy and Air Force do? I never hear about them, outside the SEALs in the Navy. How are they involved and how are they important to the Marines and Army on the ground?

Does anyone know of a very good and complete chart of the korean alphabet? I've seen some with lots of stuff, some with not much and want a good, fairly complete one? Anyone know of a site with one?

What jobs in the US Army would be likely to get you assigned in S. Korea? If my MOS is medical oriented, could I expect to be assigned in S. Korea?

As a member of the US Army, there is a very high chance I could be assigned to either S. Korea or Japan, possibly for several years. If so I plan to study and become fluent in that language. Assuming that happens, which would be a better language to study and why?
