Legal Help?
I have lived and been primary care taker of my grandparents for three years. Both of my grandparents have had a lot of health problems and my mother has been in and out during this time. She does assist with taking care of them but I would say I do at least 95% of the caretaking usually. I am an only grandchild and my mother is an only child. My mother had herself put over my grandfathers account and told me that she was unable to put me on there as well because she is their child and only one person is allowed. She is not doing what I think is best for my grandparents with these accounts and I do not want to report her to anyone I just do not want her to swoop in, take all the power, and do whatever she wants. We (my grandparents and I) live in my childhood home (which i have kept running now for three years.) She takes everything she can get from their (home because my grandfather with dementia gives it to her.) I am worried they will be deemed unable to decide for themselves and I will have no legs to stand on. She can just sell the house and my six year old and I will be homeless with nothing because I quit my job to take care of my grandparents (necessary medically) and have been consumed with taking care of them. Any legal help or anything I can do now before its too late. I know we can get a will created but I worry she will argue their mental state isn't well. Which recently worsened. Also as the grandchild I have no idea what rights I have. Help pls.
