I'm set on doing Film as my main major. What would be a realistic major or minor I could do that kind of goes along with my film major? I'm not sure.

This is my dream college for my major in film.

How good does my GPA have to be to get into it?

And what about my grades in general?

And what grade should I have to get on my ACT?

I'm a junior in high school.

Have all A's and B's.

GPA is around 3.5ish

Hi! I'm currently a Junior in High School and decided that instead of being a doctor, or dentist, or something that makes a lot of money, I'd rather do something I'd love to do as a job instead of something for money and no enjoyment.

Okay, so I live in Wisconsin. And I've been looking at colleges all over the US.

I want to go to a Film school that has good job opportunities there, like L.A. instead of some random place in, say Kentucky.

I have looked at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee because it's the only Film school in Wisconsin that I know of. Some other colleges I've looked at but seem way to hard to get into:

FSU: Florida State University

University of Southern California

Institute of Art Chicago

I want to go somewhere in Chicago per say. Because there's more opportunities there.

Can someone list me some good FILM colleges around the US, but easier ones to get into, not like prestigious ones. And maybe some in Chicago, and in the Midwest.

And, I know the film business is hard to get into. Would dual majoring be something i should look into? And what other major would go good with a film major? THANKS!

I understand that film is a tough industry, you don't have to tell me.

But like, what jobs can result?

Something like screenwriting? Film editing? What?

And also, what are some good and easy film schools to get into?

I want to go to FSU, and my grades seem up to par there.

Ok so i had the app "Facebook" on my iPhone and removed it because it was freezing and thought re-installing it would fix it.

So it currently isn't on my iPhone 3G.

I go into the app store (on my iPhone) and search the same "facebook" app but when i want to download it, the button is grayed out and it says installed.

I want to record video gameplay using the mac's screen capture program i have called Screenium.

I heard you can plug in a VGA cable to a computer and play xbox on ur computer screen and then use a computer capture program (aka my Screenium) to record gameplay.

Does the iMac have a VGA input for the VGA cord?

How can i record gameplay using a capture card (like dazzle) without connecting it to my computer or a laptop.

My main computer is a floor beneath my "gaming" area and can't carry it up and down every time i wanna record a game.

Or is there an easy way to record gameplay (besides a capture card and a dvd recorder)

Also, i have no computer near my Xbox 360 so i can't connect it via there.

Ok, i have the FLIP MINO which is a small handheld video camera. What i didn't know is that it doesn't have video stabilization unlike other cameras and my videos come out a little shaky.

Any tricks or tips on keeping a steady hand? My hand is shaky at some points and idk why! HELP!

You know on the first few episodes of American Idol where they kind of spotlight certain people and then they audition?

What i mean by spotlighting is you see their home, their family, their job, like their lives, (like the AI ppl followed them home)

Why do these people get chosen and HOW do they get chosen?
