i have been diagonised with gastritis and i got heartburn here and then after meals....i havent smoked in a while , is it dangerous to smoke? how about 1 cigarette or switching from cigarette to pipe smoking?

i smoked before for around 4 months total like 8 cigarettes or less per day , and i quit it ever since i got bronchitis and i was put on seretide by my doc for breathing ease and it went on for around 3 months ...i felt relief but i still had a restriction in my chest and i cant seem to get full breath....after using seretide for 3 months i noticed i started spitting clear mucus most of the time it just comes in my mouth and i spit it...i had endoscopy done and it showed positive for h pylori ...i did a 10 days course which i think it eleminated it...my doc said everything is fine...i still spit clear mucus all the time...when i drink water or eat any food and i also have burping alot...i have a one nostril blocked.

even though i tried nexium , pariet , esomparamazole...i still spit alot of clear mucus and i never blowed my nose for a while.

Do I have acid reflux? or post nasal drip or something else?
