  • Can you help? I need a cheap and fast PC or laptop?

I just got a refurb Dell Dimension 2400. Came with only Windows XP on it. I downloaded openoffice, idrive and norton AV. ANYWAY, it has 2.8 Ghz processor but it's still SLOW loading windows, changing web pages, etc.

What's a cheap refurb that will access internet and word processing software more quickly?

    Thanks!

  • Parts needed to connect a 3-wire 220v shower heater to dryer extension?

I AM GOING to have an electrician do this work, I just need the proper parts.

Heated Shower head has 3 wires. (I have the shower head)

Dryer cord has 3 or 4 wires (the one I have has 4 wires and 4 prongs)

Dryer OUTLET has 4 prong holes. (I don't have a dryer).

Can I GET a 3-wire dryer cord/appliance extension and fit it with some kind of adapter to make it work in a 4-prong outlet? So that the attachment of shower head heater to dryer/appliance extension would be easier?

OR is there any way to directly wire a 3-wire shower head (1 is ground) to the 4-wire dryer extension I have now?

Thanks in advance for help. I want to have everything ready when the electrician completes the task. I am looking at about $80 or so, I think.

  • Any more ideas about fleas?

I've read many replies here, and am wondering if there are any other ideas. My new rescue pup brought fleas with her. ;oo I treated her and my poodle mix with flea powder, did a frontline treatment and now they have flea and tick collars on. (I have never had fleas on any dog I've mothered before.) I treated the premises with Enforcer Flea killer powder and vacuumed it up. Now the new gal had a couple fleas on her again today. I thought the frontline AND collar would keep them off. Is Advantix REALLY that much better? I'll try anything. Thanks!
