So, the dream began with me in the bread section of a supermarket (where it's been freshly made and is on display). Somehow, the bread section blended into a lake, where it was sunset (or at least the sky was orange). his girl was standing in the lake - I think she was fishing or something - when a shark began to swim quite quickly towards her.

This other person came then, and all I noticed about them was that they were holding a massive sword, which they used to kill the shark. It seemed all was well; the girl had been saved and I could go back to buying bread. However, it turned out that the shark was actually a person (now dead) enchanted to look like a shark. The lake was filled with such sharks, and perhaps many of them had been killed as a result of seeming to be sharks.

Does this dream have any sort of meaning? Can you explain why I had this dream? I haven't watched and films or television programmes with sharks in lately.

Or rather, what would they eat if they existed?

Don't say fish. I know it isn't fish, because in The Little Mermaid, King Triton's main problem with humans is that they are "fish-eaters" (and therefore barbarians). I have considered seaweed, but surely this isn't something you could live on exclusively?
