  • What if a child refuses to cooperate with cps?

I am 16 years old, I’ve lived with my dad for the past year against my will. He is physically and emotionally abusive to me. I visited my moms house in California for summer vacation and I decided I’m not going back. If/when the police come to my mothers house to take me back to my fathers house (in Louisiana) I am going to run, scream, bite, do whatever I need to do because there is no way I am going back there. Are there procedures for circumstances like this? If I have to go to juvenile detention for resistance I am completely okay with that, and would prefer that over Louisiana.

  • How can I get emancipated?

I am 14, my father abuses me. I live with my mother currently, whom I would like to continue living with. My father had emailed my mother that he would "see her in court tomorrow." and my mom naturally was confused. So she called and found out that we had a court date and paid a lawyer the last of our money to speak for us. That made it seem like she was served correctly when she in reality was not. So my mother is in contempt of court and if she goes to Louisiana she will be arrested for that. But we have to go to Louisiana now, because California doesn't have jurisdiction, and Louisiana does. So we can't go to the court date without my mother being arrested. My mom and I were talking things through and she suggested emancipation. What are the steps I should take, and ways I can make enough money to live on my own? (Also if you have suggestions about the court date please comment them) Thanks.
