I'm moving out to my student accomodation, and rather than have two xbox 360s, I would rather I could just take my hard drive and plug it in to my friend's when I want to play on my save games. Is this alright (it will be connected to xbox live if that is relevant)

I'm British, but living in the US for the next few months. I see the pound going down the pan, so should I transfer my funds to the US, and if so, how? (Western, paypal...?)

Just hypothetically, would she be detained at her own pleasure? Would she be obliged to abdicate then be prosecuted?

I just moved here to Champaign, Il from the UK and I'm getting bitten A LOT from insects. Will I develop a natural resistance to these so there's less swelling and itchiness? I don't see anyone else with bites all over them! I am all inoculated and everything so there's no danger there, its just slightly annoying.

I want to buy an Iphone here in Britain, however I'm about to leave to go to the US for five months and so buying a £35 contract only to go where I'll be charged extra anyway is a bit impractical. So, could I buy an iphone here with an O2 contract, have it unlocked, then buy an AT&T prepaid sim card for use in America?

I'm thinking about studying in France (and therefore in French language) for the second semester (Jan-June) of my third year in University in 2010. I'm not a complete beginner, but I'm not exactly expert - I can just about survive a holiday, so I suppose "post-beginner".

My question is, if I start now, (and Im already going abroad for five months in August so I don't know what the language facilities will be like there), will I be able to learn French well enough to be able to study in it and do myself justice in it by January 2010?

Automatically, I have always done it, do I just do it as a filler? More often than not I know the answer before I say it I just can't help it.. I thought it was just me but I noticed a teacher of mine did the same thing when I was in school.

I'm studying in america next year and would at some point like some of my friends from the UK to visit. My question is, would I be able to let them stay in my accomodation for the duration of their holiday? The reason I ask is I know American immigration is quite suspicious, so they might insist on them having certified written accomodation such as a hotel. Thanks

I'm not technical at all I have a DVD camcorder and when I record several bits it sort of records over itself... its difficult to describe!

Here's an example:

I record a two minute piece, then a ten minute piece. If I play the video from start to end, the video will only be two minutes long, but if I start it from say 1 minute in, then the video will start from the start of the ten minute piece... this doesn't make much sense to me and probably doesn't to you either!

Er, any idea where I'm going wrong? (it happened with my last one aswell so definetly my fault, not the camcorders)

A game comes out in the US (or is already out.. I'm not sure!) but it is not out till Friday in the UK. Could I make an American EA Store account here and get it sooner? Worth a go! Thanks.

Sorry, I am the least techie person in the world but I have a new graphics card and the slot..inserter thing....has a hole in a different place to the slot on the motherboard, the manual ays its AGP compatible and my motherboard has a little arrow and says AGP, any way to make this work? Thanks!

I don't know much about economics so this is potentially a stupid question, but is there any risk the Euro is going to get stronger against the pound before march, and if so should I convert my money now rather than later?

Hello, basically when installing World of Warcraft it is always stopping at the same place - 92%. The error says it can not write a certain file, but it's a different file every time. I thought it might be a problem with the CD but I got new ones and the same problem happens, but at a different point. I contacted the technical support and did everything they say, and everything on the FAQs and no luck. Really want this to work now, any help GREATLY appreciated!!

I keep getting mouth ulcers, at the moment have one on my gum, two weeks ago I had one at the bottom of my mouth between the lip and the gum, and before that I had two on my lip which almost merged into one big one. They're usually quite small but very painful, to the extent it affects my speec because it hurts to open mouth etc. I've been thinking and I have been drinking a cup of coffee a day - but I've always done that and it hasn't affected me like this before?

Is there any reason to be concerned about them beyond the pain?

Is there anything that could cause them to appear apart from that cup of coffee? (I've checked and it can't be Vitamin C deficiency because I get plenty of Vitamin C)

Does it come down eventually? Is it possible that if he stands there long enough the one that fired it could get killed, or does it move with the curving of the Earth etc. I've only done GCSE physics so simple answers needed please!
