  • Is this possible by any chance?

I have just started working for a solar panel installation company and I am new to this so I am not really sure. But is it possible to have panels that provide energy for select household appliances? For example having a panel (not really sure about sizes) for you refrigerator, or television, or computer, or a combination of select appliances. I believe if this was possible it would appeal to those who cannot afford entire arrays.

  • Am I on the right track?

I am a Junior at NJIT and I have recently become interested in renewable energy. I have signed up for a class that will get me certified in solar installations and I have gotten myself an internship at a small solar installation company. My issue is that my father wants me to be more of an engineer than a technician. So far I've been ignoring his pleas but I feel pressured sometimes. I am more interested in installing. And though I'm majoring in Construction Engineering Technology, I want to pursue renewable energy and I plan on sticking with it. My question is am I on the right track and which direction should I consider taking once I get certified. Dropping out has crossed my mind but I feel it is too late for me to just leave, and my father would be crushed if I did. And I don't want to be a college drop out.

P.S. If you need more details just say so.

And when I said he wants me to be more of an engineer, I meant he wants me to make a

difference rather than just install. So if anyone has any advice as to how I can make a difference

    please let me know.

  • Online school for construction management?

I'm a sophomore/junior getting a bachelor's in construction engineering tech. I recently became very interested and involved with solar panel installation and design. I got an internship with a possibility of employment when I'm done and now my bachelor's just seems to be in the way. i was wondering if there is an online school in which I could get my bachelors because I want to finish faster and NOT drop out. Of course the school has to be accredited and not looked down upon. Please do not suggest dropping out or changing majors....save your finger strength :D

  • Construction Engineering Technology in NJ?

I am currently a sophomore in the process of getting a bachelors degree in Construction Engineering Technology and I live in NJ. I wanted to get some experience before graduating. I have looked online but I would like someone in the fields opinion as to what I should do and where I should really look as far as getting experience goes. However I do not really care whether I get hired in New Jersey or not but I live here so it would be more convenient if I got experience in NJ.
