*Pregnant With #1*

My daughter is about 10 weeks old and she weighs 12lbs and is 22 1/2inches. At birth she weighed 6lbs 11.9oz and her doctor says she is a bit overweight and I need to cut her formula intake down from 5 1/2oz to 4oz but she isn't happy with just 4oz but her doctor insists not giving her more. I hate to hear her cry because she wants more so I give it to her, will she have weight problems in the future if I do this? Thanks

My daughter is a month old and at every feeding she drinks 5oz of formula and her doctor said that is a bit much and to stop her at 4oz but after the 4oz she always wants more and she cries really hard until I give it to her. As you can imagine i hate to hear her cry so i give it to her. Is she eating too much?

I was induced on Valentine's day and delivered my baby girl, Trinity at 8:30am on the 15th via c- section. I am so happy and she is so beautiful :) at 6lbs 11.9ounces, 19 inches long and a head full of black hair with big brown eyes. Just wanted to share this good news :) Baby Dust to everyone

Since about 12:30am ive had about 12 non regular contractions, they are dull and not that painful, its now 2:30am and the contractions still come and go. Should I be concerned? Could this be the beginning of labor or just false labor? Im supposed to get induced at 6:30pm today. Like I said the contractions are not painful just noticeable. Thanks for all non rude answers :)

Okay im 3 days overdue and supposed to be getting induced tomorrow, and for the last two weeks every time I sit straight up in a chair for a hour or more my feet start to swell and my toe nails turn blue/grey. Should I call the hospital about it because today my legs have been going numb and I get sharp pains in my thighs when I try to use the bathroom. Should I wait until tomorrow or call today? What could this be?

Im 40 weeks pregnant and 2 days overdue, I was supposed to get induced Tuesday and then on Thursday but both got canceled due to snow and ice which has had me a bit depressed but I am scheduled again for Sunday, Then my boyfriend told me today that his mom wants him to get a dna test for the baby but since the hospital doesn't do it, it would cost us about 400 dollars at the closest clinic and that is money we don't have and he is telling me not to worry about it and we don't have to get it done because he knows that the baby is his but I feel like not getting it will cause problems between him and his mom. I feel like nothing is going right and i'd just like advice on how to handle this stress....Im in terrible pain in my legs and the doctor doesn't know why so that is just adding to the stress...please I need some advice before I break down. :( ?

Im 39 weeks and getting induced tomorrow with cervidil. My doctor told me to be at the hospital before 7pm, does that mean I can go at anytime tomorrow morning? Im really nervous and my boyfriend is going with me, will they let him stay with me while im getting induced? Thanks for all answers.

Im having problems with my dad's girlfriend. Every since I got pregnant she has been saying very hurtful things but I hold my tongue in respect for my dad but I am on the brink of hitting her. She has said that my baby would be better off if I let her and my dad adopt her, which makes no sense because I can take care of my baby but it made me feel like I wouldn't be a good mother. Then she has stated that im going to hell because I am having a baby out of wed lock, and has also said that I don't care about my baby because I ate some candy. I don't know how to handle this but I want it settled before my baby comes and she starts to say these things in front of my baby. What should I do? Im getting induced on Tuesday and want to take it up with her tomorrow but I don't know what to say without getting angry and wanting to hit her. Lol.

I am scheduled for induction on Tuesday and I had an appointment with my doctor on monday, due to snow the doctor's office may be closed on Monday. My question is, if the doctor's office is closed do I still go to the hospital for induction? I can't get in touch with the doctor this weekend because they are closed.

Im getting induced on tuesday with cervidil because of medical issues and I will be 39 weeks and 6 days. Has anyone else been through this? Did it work for you? Im really nervous because this is my first baby. :) Thanks for those who answer.

I am 39 weeks and if I do not go into labor within the rest of this week I will be getting induced on Tuesday. I'd like any tips or advice from women whom have been induced, what was your experience like? Was inducing really as bad as people say it is? Thank you :)

So far I have a bassinet until I get a crib, a ton of clothes sizes 0-12 months,stroller,car seat, hats, socks, blankets, a baby brush and comb set, diapers, and wipes. What else will I need for my baby? Also what will I need to pack for the hospital? Thanks :)

Lat night my boyfriend and I had sex about three times and at about 4am this morning I started to leak this fluid and I thought it was pee but when I tried to hold it in until I got to the bathroom it wouldn't stop. So I called my doctor's office and they told me to come in tomorrow to see if I was leaking amniotic fluid but now when I go to the bathroom to pee I feel this painful pressure in my vaginal area and my back starts to hurt. What could this be? Should I go to the ER?

Im 35 weeks and having a lot of period like cramps and starting to feel sick to my stomach. Should I go to the er or wait and see if it gets better? Please no rude answers,I am really worried.

Okay im 34 weeks and just broke up with my boyfriend because he is cheating and treating me like im nothing, so instead of stressing about it and hurting my baby i've decided to leave him and raise my baby on my own. I have a job but still plan on getting child support from him. Now my question is, this is my first and im afraid that I won't be a good parent, how do I get over this fear? What happens when she wants to know who her dad is?And I could use any advice on bonding closely with my baby. Thanks =)

Okay so ive been measuring about a week ahead and i've gotten to the point where I stand up and the baby puts so much pressure on my bottom half that it hurts really bad, it feels like a huge weight on my uterus, of course im going to ask my doctor about this but could my baby be that big to feel like that?

Im 32 weeks and the lower right side of my back is hurting a lot and I am starting to feel sick to my stomach, like slight cramps from a period. Has anyone been through this? Should I call my doctor? This is my first baby.

For the past week every time I eat anything fried, it ends up in the toilet(sorry if TMI). Before I throw up, my stomach feels as though it is on fire and I feel terrible until I throw up. Anybody else gone through this?

Last night after my boyfriend and I had rather rough sex, I started contracting and my back hurt really bad and this was about 1:00am, I went to sleep and woke up at 4:30am with the same pains and fell back asleep at 5:45am. When I got up at 8:00am the pains were gone. I havn't had the pains since but im still worried. No rude comments this is my first baby.

Im 32 weeks according to my doctor and for the past two days ive had this sharp pain in my lower abdomen that came and went but tonight it has gotten more consistent. Ive only had a few contractions today that were spread throughout the day. My whole lower body hurts, what is this? No rude comments please this is my first baby.
