I am looking for better than CD quality music. So far I have found HDtracks.com which has some good stuff but a limited selection. Are there any other online stores to buy HD music? Also any other free downloads besides Nine Inch Nails' The Slip?

So I've been practicing trying to not be so shy toward girls. I read an article by a girls who said she is impressed if a guy approaches her and says she's hot, and so today I told a girl she looked hot. But she just said oh... like she was uncomfortable and had no idea what to say and after a pause said an unenthusiastic "thank you." So this obviously wasn't the reaction I was going for but my question is is this a particularly horrible thing I should never do again or is it just surprising and/or still flattering when the awkward moment passes?

So I have a PC that is not too powerful by today's gaming standards and is a compact unit that is too complex for me to bother upgrading at this point. It can run some new games good enough for me like Left 4 Dead on medium setting, enough that it was worth getting the PC version even though the console version runs smoother. Some other games like COD4 and Bioshock are playable but are choppy enough and require turning graphics down enough that I would go for the console version. So I am wondering if some other games that are better on the PC would be stable enough to warrant buying them on the PC rather than the console version. Specifically I would like to know about: Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and Borderlands. Thanks

I know girls like reinforcement that they are attractive but they also complain about guys obnoxiously hitting on them.

I've been shy about giving girls compliments most of my life for the latter reason but I am trying to overcome this shyness because it isn't working out for me. Yesterday at the mall I told a girl she was really pretty. She said thank you and looked down and smiled a little bit but didn't appear swept off her feet or anything. Did I do good?

Also any other advice for the future because it felt great like a weight off my back to be honest like that and I would hope to continue in the future.

I downloaded an .AVI movie but it was split up into several file fragments so it would not exceed the file size on the server I downloaded it from. How do I join the fragments back into one file?

Every civilization will eventually fall. When do you think the US will reach its time. Do you think it will happen this century? There are a number of issues that are being debated that, depending on who you ask, may have serious consequences for the US or for the entire human race even. Some examples are Global Warming or other destroyers of our ecosystem, Overpopulation, depletion of oil reserves, economic changes, war/terrorism.
