Our tow truck went down this summer, and we traveled to three different locations using my personal car to try to find one (I am technically an employee of the business as it is set up). In all, I put over 2000 miles on my car. The business paid for most of my gas (I was filled up before we left, and had to fill up when I got back, but any stops along the way were paid for). I m just trying to make sure I can deduct the mileage from these trips on my taxes, since it is a larger amount and I don t want to mess anything up there.

I am part of several graphic design contest sites, but I was wondering if there are any ad copywriting sites? My true passion lies in the copywriting, and I'd like to try some out to supplement my income. I've seen freelancing options (I'm not completely sure I'm ready to bid on those just yet, budgeting time and all), but I want to relax more and compete with others and get inspiration. I used to use Tappyn, but they sold to someone else and went down hill and phased out :/. I appreciate any places that anyone can recommend!

I graduated in December 2015, but I didn't have my tuition paid off until the middle of 2016. I had to pay Bursars the tuition plus the interest on top. Will I receive a 1098-T for what I paid in 2016?

Are there any grants for small businesses in illinois? The business is a mechanic shop.

I am attempting to do my taxes. I have received a 1098T for my classes, but it does not reflect my student loans. According to it, I've paid $2,000, when in reality student loans covered that. Since I am still a student, I do not pay any interest or anything, so I have not received a 1098E form. Do I just put the T information? Do I need to worry that this information does not accurately reflect my personal payments to the school?

I'm relatively new to investing, and I use a platform (because with the amount I'm investing I cannot really afford a broker). I was checking the recommendations on some of the stocks I hold when I came across this article about Best Buy (see bottom of description). It talks about a put contract and a $23 strike. I wasn't sure if this is something that could truly affect me, as the prices of the stocks are higher. I just need a little guidance and understanding in the terminology and how it is explained (sites usually don't help). Thanks!

This sounds stupid, but I'm very entomophobic. I don't want to call my landlord because they aren't in the house, but it is very hard for me to enter and leave my house, and I'm afraid they will find a way in. I know they're harmless, but I am still having panic attacks. Every time I look out a window there's a ton of them! I've tried ant & roach spray, but this did nothing, there's just more! Help me please???!!!

I took effexor on and off for roughly 5 years. I had a 6 month break at one point and I think everything was fine. However, the second time I quit, I had to quit cold turkey (thanks to the way that the prescribing works with my current doctors). I did this about 10 month ago. I spent three days unable to talk or walk. Everyone thought I had a stroke or seizure it was that bad. Since then, I have started having anxiety and panic attacks. Is this normal? How long will this go on? I never had them until I got off of the medicine. I'm worried there could be permanent effects.

A false review was posted about a business I am affiliated with. The review attacked the business, claiming obscene money loss, then personally attacking an employee, claiming crude things about him. We have checked our files but no such customer exists. We do not want to delete the review because it is negative (we always want to respond to and correct issue in negative reviews), we want it removed because, as said, it is false and attacks an employee personally. We have flagged the issue as false, explaining that we have researched and found no record of this customer, as well as no true person by the name in the supposed area he lives. However, they claim the post cannot be removed and that it is valid. When I attempted to call Yelp, there is absolutely no person that will answer the phone. Can anyone assist with this situation?

My conure (like most) loves to cuddle up in the corner of his cage. I have a hardware fence-like material (very small squares) for his cage. When I got up this morning, he was itching his beak more than usual, and I noticed what looks like he's been cut on the top and sides of his beak. These appear to be where he clamps his beak down at night into the material. Its not bleeding yet, its just real red, like he cut through some of the beak to get that far. I'm thinking about trying to install a hammock or a platform for him in that corner. Should I be worried about the beak? Is this normal? Is he vitamin deficient (and if so, can I buy the human version of the vitamin and crush it for him)? He currently eat Kaytee Rainforest Foraging diet (but only picks out small seeks like millets) and really seems to only eat peaches for fresh food. Any help?

I just purchased a Pineapple conure. He was on these dyed pellets which seemed to give him red, runny droppings. Since I've had him, his stool has solidified more and gone to more of a natural color. He LOVES peaches (I have to give him a slice every evening), and I give him the only seed mix I could find with pellets (Kaytee Rainforest Foraging mix), which is mostly seed and a few nuts, dried fruit, and very few pellets. He seems to only eat the small seeds (I think they're millet but I can't tell), and the peaches. Is this healthy? Should I be concerned he's not eating the pellets, large seeds, nuts, or dried fruit? Do I need to special order a more pellet-based food? Any help? He's my first conure, I've had only a cockatiel and parakeet before. Thanks!

I just moved to a trailer and I was looking for a companion. After a lot of thought and research (plus what the landlord will let me have), I'm considering a mini rex or Netherland dwarf. My big issue is every once and a while, my mom like to come down, and she's allergic to cats and rabbits (I think its the saliva, not the dander). She's not too bad, just gets sneezing and headaches. Would either of these be ok for her to be around just for a couple of days? I really want something, and all the research has tied me to a rabbit best. Please, I need some help here.

Ok, my brother and I are moving out of town. The property owners said that it is set up for MediaCom. It is kind of out to town. I was checking MediaCom, and it will cost me about $55/mo for 15mbps download speed. My brother likes to play video games on his computer, and I like to surf internet and we both watch Netflix. We watch TV in the evenings and on weekends. I was wondering first of all what kind of speeds we should be looking for (ideally for up to 7 hours of Netflix/day and 14 hours of internet/day, so that way we are overshooting)? Also, what are some good, cheap companies to look for? Thanks so much!

Ok, My calves (and sometimes by shins) have been killing me for at least the past few weeks. I don't know what is going on! I used to walk 4 miles every other day all the time. I know this winter I slacked off, but I still walk to school and everything. However, for pretty much no reason, my legs started feeling like the muscles were being ripped to shreds. I've walked, stretched, ran, rested, everything but pain meds and ice. They hurt most when I jog, walk long distances, and when I sit on my leg (a very common habit of mine). I also have been getting those horrible cramps at night that wake you up and make you feel like your leg is falling off. Someone help? I don't know what to do. i'm trying to avoid medicine if possible, but if something's wrong, I'll go. Anything???

I have recently acquired a small collection of rubies (about 29ct). It is four loose stones, each cut (but in different ways). They were appraised to have a replacement value of $990. I am looking to sell them. No jewler in my area will purchase colored stones, especially not for how included these rubies are. They are deep red to red-purple, and are true, natural rubies. I checked online but it seems like all the rubies being sold on e-bay are going for $.99, and I was hoping to get a little more from these, considering the appraised value. I was wondering where and how to potentially sell these besides the mainstream Ebay? Are there any collector sites for gemologists that may have a sales board? Do you know of any reputable companies that would potentially purchase these? Other than being included, they are very beautiful and could be set easily. Any help?

One of the college groups I'm part of is looking at having a Bike Day this spring, which involves a bunch of contests. I have been writing ideas based on things I've heard from the Biker Games a Pop's. I have anything from the classic bike race, to silly things like "Catching an Apple while Riding" or "Slowest Bike Race." I need some more ideas for some fun games that will really grab people's attention. Please let me know of anything you can think of and how to do them! Thanks so much!

Ok, well, Friday I woke with extreme vertigo and very poor speech (it was broken I kept stuttering and occassional slurring words). I was at a point where people could barely understand me. I was taken to the ER that afternoon and treated for an anxiety attack (I started having difficulty breathing and couldn't control my shivering and more core temp was hot while my extremeties were freezing), which, to almost anyone who saw it, I was told that I looked more like I was fully conscious during a seizure. The attack went away eventually on its own, but they never addressed the dizziness or speech. I kept having speech problems up until the end of the day Monday. I was told this may be related to missing my dosage of Effexor XR, but I have missed before and even quite cold turkey once and it never affected my speech, just made me a bit dizzy. This was real bad, and almost everyone I came in contact with thought I had a stroke or a seizure or something. I would just like to hear some theories I can bring up with the doc. I did have a normal CT scan at the hospital, and all the blood work was fine. What could have done this and will it happen again? Please, its frightening to go through!

Ok, I'm 5' 5" and about 180 lb, maybe a little more. I've been gaining since I got in college and got off some meds. I'm very, very active, walking several miles a day. I'm thinking about going to the gym again, but I need some advice. I have a tiny stomach, but huge hips and thighs, and big arms (the ultimate hourglass). I was wondering what exercises I need to really focus on. Also, I have muscular injuries to both shoulders (which never received proper treatment from a physical therapist), and a lower back muscular and skeletal injury (which I did see a physical therapist for), so what kind of upper body exercises can I do that will not stress the whiplash injuries in the shoulders especially? Any advice helps right now.

PS-I can't run. I might try to train myself to if I can figure out how, but honestly it is VERY hard for me so far. I've had lung problems my whole life that have really taken a toll on me

I am currently looking at a house listed for $25,000 (it is a foreclosure). I know the property will require some updating (nothing too big, mostly just cosmetic), so I will need some cash in-hand post closing. The loan I am seeking is roughly $35,000, maybe a bit more if necessary. I do not have much for closing costs, and, due to insurance, do not have any collateral (my car is still in my parents name until I graduate college, rather than have to go through the process of explaining that I am still their dependent and all of that fun). I intend to live at this location for approximately a year, maybe more if I can finish this with enough cash in hand, then rent the location (It is a college town, so its almost guaranteed to rent). I have looked into all costs versus potential income. The big thing now is that since my loan is for such a small amount, and it is requesting cash in-hand, what kind of unsecured loan could I get for roughly 20-30 years? I know most mortgages won't qualify it is under $50,000, but most also won't provide cash in-hand, and I cannot afford the down payment and closing costs they want for that size of a loan, however most personal loans of this amount require a collateral of some type. I also know loan shopping can be very very dangerous for your credit score. While mortgage shopping, I know that it all only counts as one hit, however if I don't shop for a mortgage, but rather a personal loan, could each request go against my credit rating? Is there anything out there than can help me in some way to get this necessary money? Please, I've done so much work and studying to get this place, I just need the help to find the investment.

I have a Dell Inspiron i15RV-10000BLK laptop computer. I took pictures for someone's wedding reception using a brand new PNY premium 2gb sd card. When I insert the car into the computer, it doesn't even read that it is there. Is there some kind of trick I'm missing? Please, need a real answer asap
