He won't get rid of it even though he doesn't like it because he says it's good meterial and I said why would you offer me a top your ex brought you and he went off on one saying I'm acting like hes just hugged his ex and that I'm over reacting when I only asked why would he get so defensive and why would he still have it then offer me it?

I've been with mine for 8 months now and I haven't told them but my mum met him when stayed round my house but they think he's just a friend and I don't know how my mum will react and I don't know what to say or how to say it I don't have a very open realationship with my parents so it's hard to speak about this kind of stuff without feeling embarrassed or awkward about it, I was thinking of texting instead of face to face. How did u tell your parents about you relationships?
