I started playing aion last night. I ascended and decided to play as a Ranger at first, but this is seemingly not a good choice class for a beginner so I'm going to start over as an assassin (and to experience the different faction).

Is there room in the game for a noob? Like, will I be able to find my place in the game? Or should I just not bother.

Another question, I have one friend currently downloading the game, will we be able to play through the game together? Or are bigger parties almost a requirement for later quests.

My girlfriend is clingy. Clingy to the point where she doesn't have many friends, just me. Over the past year its began to push me away a little and recently, I ended up kissing another girl. I confessed because I love her, but I honestly didn't feel that guilty. I confessed because it was the right thing to do. I feel I love her more as a protective figure rather than a boyfriend. She was obviously upset, but she wants to stay with me, yet she still is very clingy and puts a lot of pressure on me to make sure she's happy. More and more I'm drawn to girls that don't need me to be there all the time, but part of me wants to finish off the year with her and take her to prom just because I feel she deserves it. And she's pushed her friends away through her clingy nature I don't want her to he alone if I dump her. I can't tell you how much I want to experience other women though... What do you think?

Title says it all, I've been dating a girl for about 3 weeks, and with Christmas coming up, I'm not sure what is an acceptable present. We're both young adults, 18 years old, and I have money. But after the short amount of time we've been together I think something like Jewelry is out the question, or is it? I want her to know I care about her, but I don't want to go over the top and creep her out.

Hi all. So as the title suggests, I'm looking for some very specific hardware. I'm looking for a micro ATX motherboard, which uses DDR3 memory, intel 775 socket supporting a Q8400, and here is the kicker.... with an FSB that is overclockable.

So far in my hunt I've managed to find mobos that fit into one of the following categories:

1) Board meets all specifications EXCEPT supports DDR2

2) Board meets all specifications EXCEPT can not be overclocked past approximately 342-343 fsb.

This is a tough one.. any ideas where I could find a mobo that fits these needs? Any help is much appreciated!

Alright here is the deal, I have an intel Q8400 processor. Through lots of trial and error, it seems the host frequency can't go beyond 343 (default 333). I've played around with the voltages for both RAM and CPU with no success. For example, if I set the cpu frequency to 345, the computer will not start, and reset to the stock speed. This is a SMALL overclock so I'm not sure as to what the issue is, I have gotten rid of the stock fan and temps are very low.

8 gigs DDR3 1333

Memory: 2GB DDR2 Corsair at 667MHz

Mobo: nVidia 680i LT Core 2 Quad

After Upgrades:

Memory: 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 G.SKILL Ripjaws Series at 1333

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo

I'm really confused at how the score could be the same. Any ideas?

I've had this rig for awhile and I'm looking for some cheap improvements so I can get a little better framerates for games like Skyrim (currently able to play on high, with good fps unless in a city)

I have 4 gigs of ram at 1333

intel quad core cpu 2.6ghz

evga gtx 260

and i believe my psu is 800w Corsair.

What would be some cheap step ups to either the cpu or graphics card? what would you upgrade if you had, hypothetically, $200?
