On a Nikon 50 mm f/1.4 D, can I use this lens hood (http://www.amazon.com/metal-Nikkor-standard-other-... and a UV filter at the same time?

Or with a filter mounted screw on hood is it one or the other?

I just got a new computer for my bike (a cat one if it matters) and it came without the spoke piece thing that spins with the wheel.

Is there some makeshift way to put in a replacement for this thing, like a magnet and duct tape?

I am in training for several long distance races this year and could really use a way to measure how long my runs are exactly. Is there any good way to do this? Maybe something that goes on my shoe or whatever. (yes i know apple has one and its only for super expensive nike shoes)

I ride 99% dirt jumps and need a solid strong pedal. Weight is less important than performance.

I just did my first triathlon (SF tri sprint baby) on a 20 year old road bike. I dont get the difference between a road bike and a triathlon bike. the geometry is so different and so are the components! why? which should i get for training and races in the future?

Are the stems any good? The bars? any thing? It looks so damn cool i just have to have it! It would go on a dirt jumping bike
