Should I be looking for people to lease the apartment if no lease was signed?
I'm having a complicated situation where me and a couple friends initially agreed to take this apartment in Montreal, however, the more we considered it, the more me and one friend realized that we wanted something else. We were thinking of getting an apartment closer to campus.
Having said that, there is one complication. We signed the promise to lease (technically I didn't, but I consented verbally), so the company we leased it from told us that we must find 2 other people to rent the place, otherwise we would still need to pay for the rent). Is that legal even though we have not signed the actual lease? I tried discussing with the company, Werkliv, and they said that we would need to; I thought we would just lose the security deposit? Anyone who has knowledge of these legal issues, could you help?

2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)7 years agoI feel the need to keep swallowing my saliva in a particular class?
This is really weird. I started grade 11 this year and ever since the first couple days, in my 2 classes that I have with the same teacher, I develop this saliva in my mouth. Also, my teacher just left for 2 weeks and we have a substitute but I still can't stop swallowing. So I don't think it's the teacher that is the cause of this. When I try to stop it, it just keeps on coming. I don't know if anyone else notices me gulping every time. Is this probably an anxiety issue? Has someone ever experienced this? and can you give me any advice on this? It's driving me nuts because I can't figure out why it's happening.
