Can Tiz Wonderful spring a Jim Dandy of an upset?
I love Street Sense...but I love a price more, if he goes off at anything close to the 9-2 the Form has him at, and wins, dinner is on me at Sergio's, my reservation is at 7:30 come find me.
3 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoWhat is Rags To Riches' real issue?
I'll eat my own poop if Pletcher isn't working her because she has a 101 temp, bulllllllsheeeeeet. I love the way nobody can say whats wrong with a horse these days, even a filly whose foals will never be auctioned off. What a joke this business has become, a far cry from the days the old warriors ran every week and traded punches with no excuse if they lost the odd race.
9 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoWhen will Coolmore announce they figured out how to do a sex change on a horse?
so they can breed Rags To Riches to 250 mares a year then shuttle her to Australia for another 120. What a nice filly, I just wish she was owned by anybody else in the business.

8 AnswersHockey1 decade agoWho will be the most impressive Derby prep winner this weekend?
So you think you can handicap? List your Wood, Santa Anita Derby, Ill Derby winners. Add a longshot or someone at least 5-1 (morning line)in each race you think will hit the board as a tie breaker. Good luck to all who may even be laying a bet or two down on Saturday.
7 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoWhy do show horse people think they know what's best for race horses?
I love some of the comments I hear on this site and also at the farm I send my babies to get started at, which also has some show horses boarded there. If these people knew the first thing about the industry maybe I'd care what they say. I don't tell them how to jump a horse, don't tell me how to win a race and how horses should be managed. But I think it's funny, so lets hear some good ones.
9 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoThe best Horse Racing Myth?
All of those fans out there who think they know the Biz. What is your insider info that has even those involved shaking their heads. I will pick the most outrageous, mis-conception there is out there. It could be jockeys can't own their own horses, jockeys don't make enough so they consistantly throw races, horses are beat mercilessly so they run faster. Any of those would be great, but they are old by this point, come up with the best inside info your hotwalking friend just heard, and I will pick the most laughable fact out there as best answer.

In North America, overnight races only, not including overnight Stakes races.
3 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoWho is the worst track announcer in the U.S.?
You win for the right selection but add a second selection, as the tie-breaker will be whoever gets the second worst too.

5 AnswersHorse Racing1 decade agoAnyone Foal Watching?
I have been waitng for my mare to foal and stumbled upon this site. It is like internet crack, you can't leave it alone even though you know it's so bad. She's almost a week past due now and I hope she pops soon. I have 10 more to go and I have already run out of things to do at night, it is nice to get a break from hitting the bars though, my liver is in heaven.
