  • Problems with web browsers?

The problem is that at first, my web browser will go REALLY fast, but then they will slow down tremendously and use up 100%CPU and near 100,000K memory. At first it was IE7, so I switched to Firefox, then it started doing it, so I switched to Opera. But, now even opera is doing it and when it does it, it plain sticks.

I've run CCleaner, cleared out history, disabled add-ons, etc...it still does it.

    What can I do?

P.S.: If it helps any, I recently went to war with a TDSS backdoor Trojan with Rootkit features. But, I got that by disabling my TDSS and clearing it out with Avira Virus.

  • The Demon God of Viruses...?

My computer has a virus. This virus slows down the internet, redirects search engine inquiries to lame ad sites, causes my computer to not connect at times to the page, blocks certain sites, and disables my system restore.

    I've tried the following:

Norton Antivirus, Avast, CCleaner and Ad-aware were all unable to find it and delete it after full scans.

Norman Malware, Spybot, Spysweeper, Malwarebytes and Spyware Terminator are all rendered as dead links on my desk top when I try to click on them.

AVG anti-virus is forced to shut down with an error.

Websites to all other programs that may help (like superspyware.com, or pctools.com, are completely blocked by the virus and the web won't connect to them.)

It also prevents auto-updating for any service by not allowing it to connect to the web. So even windows is helpless.

And to top it all off, the Virus disables System Restore.

Yeah, this is one baaaaad mutha-shut-yo-mouth.

Does ANYONE know how I can fix this without having to reinstall the OS? And this virus is so bad, I wonder if that would actually work?

  • Has anyone seen this UNBELIEVABLE Virus? ?

I have a virus that does the following:

It blocks access to most sites that you can download anti-spyware, malware, adware, etc...

those it allows in, it disables the web connections for them to install.

those that get past that are unable to locate whatever virus this might be.

the virus also has disabled my system restore.

It also slows down the computer about every 30 minutes (just the web) and then routes all my yahoo or google searches through to lame ad sites.

Anyone know what this is and how to fix it? WITHOUT having to completely reinstall the OS?

  • Computer Problem! PLEASE HELP!?

Recently, my computer started going really slow on the internet. I thought it was the web, but it turned out to be my computer. The internet was eating up way too much of the CPU and memory. So, I started doing things to fix it.

I did a virus scan and sweep with Avast

I deleted all the history and internet temp files with CCleaner

I fixed all issues inside the registry

    I disabled all add-ons I wasn't using

    I re-installed Internet Explorer 7

Finally, I switched browsers to Mozilla Firefox, but the same thing keeps happening.

    1. The computer will slow down online after about 20-30 minutes. (I restart it, then it will work fine.) It especially seems to have a problem with pictures and videos.

    2. It will sometimes tell me that it can't connect with the page, but as soon as I reload, it comes up.

    3. If I do a yahoo search and click on a result, it will send me to a random search engine or advertisement when I know the site is there. (I type in the site in the address bar and it takes me there.)

    4. Some pages have their appearances altered as if appearing to be a beta version or something.

What's wrong with my computer? How can I fix it? Do I have to reload the entire operating system?

  • Herbal Vitamin Combos?

I did my own research on weight loss suppliments (All Natural) and I take the following:

    Tonalin CLA

    Protein Tablets

    Pure B-12

    Hoodia Gordonii

    Green Tea

    Cayenne Pepper

    Cider Vinegar

    Omega-3 Fish Oil

    KLB6 (Kelp, Lecithin, B-6 & Cider Vinegar)

I'm seeing AMAZING benefits from this combo of suppliments. They ease my knee and back pain, give me energy (especially during my intense workout sessions), supress my appetite, and I see weight loss, even when not working out, like this past week.

But, I wonder, though I feel no side effects, is combining these things safe in the long run? Does anyone know where I can find out about mixing all natural herbs? (None of this stuff is chemical, it comes from plants, the human body, etc...)
