Any time I open microsoft word, it will allow me to open documents, and type, but I cannot save or use any of the things in the tool bar (eg Home, Insert, Page Layout). The whole things has a gray tint and it won't let me click on anything. Is there something I have to change or did I unknowingly press a button?? It was working a few minutes ago. All I did was close microsoft word and then open it again.

Does anyone know some books like Angelfall by Susan Ee or Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly?

Angelfall is about the apocalypse brought on by Angels (kind of like Legion...Or, a LOT like Legion actually) and humans are trying to survive it.

And Angel Burn is about Angels invading earth basically to take over the world (not really, the book is about a half-angel chick who falls in love with a angel hunter, but I just like the world dominationness of it all).

So... Angelic post-apocalyptic books. Or really just ANY post-apocalyptic books. I like the zombie ones, but for some reason, most of them are written by British people, and it screws with my brain because everything sounds weird in my head. :( (So, books like Rise Again, which was amazing, btw)

So right now I'm writing a story about a girl in high school in grade 11 in the US, and I was just looking up the average class schedule, and I just noticed that there are different lunch periods, like 1st lunch, 2nd lunch, 3rd, etc, and in my town in Canada we don't have that. in Jr high we have 4-5 classes, then lunch, and then three more classes. And I'm in high school and we have one three hour long class, an hour and a half for lunch, and then another three hour long class.

I was just wondering if all schools in the US have the different lunch periods, and if all schools in Canada dont... I just found it very interesting.

Example of my highschool schedule:

8:00am - 10:48 - Art 30

10:48 - 12:05 - Lunch

12:05 - 2:55pm - Math 20 Pure

Hey, so I need some name help for a couple of my stories. Please help me if you can!

In one of my stories, the main character's name is Audrey, and she has a twin sister. I think I want to name her sister Coryne, or Caryne, but I don't know if her nickname should be Cora or Cory or Cara. Please help! And if you have any other name suggestions for her, that would be great too!

Also, for another story I'm writing, the main characters name is Catari and I think I need a name for her boyfriend. Right now I have him as Jaren, but if anyone else has any better ideas . . .? And I prefer if his name means something to do with water, or the ocean, or fishing, I guess.

And for my last question about names, I'm writing a story about a huntress named Aberdeen and I need a name for her brother. All the characters have weird names (her 'boyfriend' is Keane, her best friends name is Aspen and her sisters name is Ophira) so I would love it if you could help me! I was thinking Theron, but it sounds too... bold, and he's very quiet and hates any type of confrontation. And anyways, I like options! Thank you so much if you can help me!!

I'm writing a story and I need help with choosing a name for the main male character. The main female character's name is Aberdeen, and I narrowed the list of male names to three:

Kian

I'd appreciate if you would tell me which is your favourite, and maybe add like a sentence as to why it's your favourite. As for his personality, he's sweet, very protective, a little bit shy but also charming, and he's clumsy. I don't know what colour hair he should have, but his eyes are hazel. I just want the best possible name for him, and I know people will say I have to name my own character, but it's literally impossible for me to choose.

If you have any names you think would be better, please tell me! I appreciate all comments.

Oh, and it would be very much appreciated if you'd like to provide name options for Aberdeen's brother. I prefer unique, weird, very rare names, if you can. ^-^ Thank you so much!

Alright, so I'm writing this one story, but I can't write very much because I don't have a name for the main male character. He's sweet, very protective, and he's always trying to help out with everything but he's really clumsy and loud, but in a good way! Just for specification, because I hate not being able to write because I can't find names, but I usually compare my characters to other characters in other books. So this guy in my story, say if he were a character in The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, he'd be Peeta.

So, I was just wondering how you scan things onto your computer. If I press the scan button on the printer, it doesn't scan onto the computer. There used to be an application or button somewhere on my laptop, but I can't seem to find it ANYWHERE. I believe it was in the Scanners and Cameras application thing on my computer, but now it just pops up with something telling me what type of scanner I have.

As you can tell, I'm completely computer-application illiterate. I can do pretty much anything and everything else on the computer except scan. How idiotic is that???

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop (1525, does that mean anything?) and a Canon MP210 Printer and Scanner combo.

Someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Hey, my grandma found a sick baby bush bunny a couple hours ago and although it felt a little cold from sitting on the sidewalk, it was responsive and breathing properly. But we just tried feeding it and although it ate the milk, it's breathing has been inconsistent and it only breathes through its mouth. It's making tiny mewing noises and we're not sure what to do. :(

Hey, um... I'm writing a random novel thing. I put my iPod on shuffle, and wrote down the first 15 songs. So... Every chapter is going to be inspired by the song. I thought it was a very interesting and fun concept to try out. :P The first song I'm using is Bleed by Evanescence. Hopefully it works, but I'm having trouble picking names. I'll try to explain my three main characters.

#1 - Girl with blonde hair and green eyes. She just watched her boyfriend murder someone, and the secret is eating away at her. She's very shy and introverted, tending to want to be alone rather than with others. She likes music and art, and is very tall but not that skinny. her passion is writing, and she's very musically inclined.

Name Options that I have: Elaura, Aisllinn, Astara, Ginnie & Sephie.

#2 - Guy with black hair and blue eyes. He's had a crush on the girl, but they're best friends. He's very outgoing, but sensitive. He likes to play music more than sports. He, the girl and two of their friends started a band. He's very cautious because he has a shady past.

Name Options that I have: Kovu, Ozzy, Victor, Soran & Ethan.

#3 - Guy with blonde hair and brown eyes. He was the girls boyfriend before she dumped him. He killed a girl. He's quite sadistic and close-minded. Very violent, but sneaky. Conniving. One of the 'in' crowd.

Name Options that I have: Jaymes, Blane, Jason, Ryne & Kaleb.

Hey, so I have a few characters that I need name help with. First off, I have four sisters, they all have the same green eyes but one is a brunette, one a blonde, one a red-head and one hs black hair. (Ya, I know, its weird and almost stupid. I like it though)

ANYWAY!!!! Name preferences. For the blonde I like Astrid, Aurora & Celyn. For the brunette I like Isabella, Lilith & Anelise. For the red-head I have Calleigh, Ginieva & Seraphina. And for the black haired girl I have Serenity, Adrianna & Echo.

My fave combination is Astrid, Isabella, Seraphina && Adrianna. (I love Echo, Calleigh and Aurora too, but... ya)
