i want to make a Giant Mirage® (http://www.optigone.com/) and i want to make it all by myself.

its made of two parabolic mirrors. wondering what materials should i use for reflection and how to make two parabolic bowls or mirrors to make it.

i'm working on a physics project and i need to make a big sphere mirror(or some other thing that reflects like mirror). and actually its really hard and expensive to make that with mirrors. so i was wondering is there any other material that can be used, maybe something easy to shape the way i want.

is there any software for this? if the answers is no then how can i separate the colors in Photoshop CS5?
