I'm the Founder of the Houston Rat Rescue. Our focus is primarily on the pet rat, but we also take in many species of exotic pets, anything from rodents to reptiles to birds and more. I live with my husband and our 5 dogs, 6 cats, 3 parrots, 2 finches, 2 hedgehogs, 10 rats, and 2 horses. I have been working in pet shops since I was old enough to have a job. I have worked for PetSmart and Petco, and a privately owned pet store. I have also done a lot of volunteer work for local rescues and I even lived on a horse sanctuary! I know a lot about animals.
